I love shredding my zucchini. I do 2 cups to freeze and when they defrost, I squeeze the liquid out and I fry in a pan with eggs for breakfast. I absolutely love it.

Another wonderful update yes I agree the Sunflowers are so pretty I never seen that color that’s nice the way you have the little sunflowers underneath that is so beautiful omg those zucchini are huge love it glad the peppers and tomatoes are doing great since you boosted the Yeast fertilizer I think the plastic or a cover over the tomatoes will help the tomatoes stay warm it will all be just fine sorry you got into a fight with your tomatoe plant 😂 it is what it is the rest won’t give you any trouble after you knocked that tomatoe plant out 😂😂😂 love it ❤

Thank you Angel ❤ Now that I have had sunflowers in the garden, I wish to keep them every year. They really do add a pop of color, the pollinators love them and they are so pretty 🙂The tomato plant was troublesome and was dropping to much fruit, lol.

Oh boy, I’ll say a prayer that the weather cooperates and you get to harvest some ripe and flavorful tomatoes! I like the way you pruned your tomatoes & peppers - those plants certainly need to focus their energy on the fruit that has set and not on excess foliage. Well done. And that obnoxious tomato plant that made you mad now knows who’s the boss, and the others will take notice. Hahaha ha ha. I love the way you have space between your garden beds. Thank you for the garden tour. 💞

Thanks so much for your prayers 🥰(15 C this morning) I may or may not get to harvest but I have gotten some garden beds established this year and that I am thankful for. Hahah, I am not so certain that the other plants consider me the boss but the obnoxious tomato plant was in the way and was dropping to much fruit, so it did have to go, lol. Glad you liked the tour and thanks so much for watching and commenting ❤

Great video, the green colour of the leaves of all of your plants is so vibrant and healthy. The night time temperatures in north east England are dropping too, also going down around 9 degrees Celsius. The summer seems to have been short and autumn is approaching at a pace.

Hi Krista, that's too bad the previous owners didn't do a thorough cleanup, especially since some of those items sound unsafe. Are you growing any winter squash? Congratulations on your channel growth--you deserve it! 🥳 ~ Sandra
@AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu3 ай бұрын
Hi Sandra. Hope you are on the mend. That garbage is unsafe. Old spring mattress, broken deep freezer and broken windows over there. I already got rid of an oil drum and another metal drum with some kind of liquid in it. It went to the hazardous waste site. I'm getting there little by little. No winter squash this year. Thank you for noticing the growth and your kind remark❤

Hi Krista! Wow, that's amazing how your tomatoes grew in 1 week! I have 3 questions- 1. When you add the 1 cup of fertilizer do you water first or after? 2.Also I thought you said fertilize every two weeks or can you do once a week 3. I made the whole batch and have quite a bit left over. Is it good for a week or so or do I just dump it? Thanks in advance. Your garden is wonderful. You work so hard on it. We had rain last night and today- the first since June and it's cold today. Our temps are supposed to warm up but we could get snow in late September. Thanks for all the info and for sharing out my channel. That was so kind of you! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello Barby. Q (1). When I add the yeast/sugar mix into 5 gallons of water, I stir that well and then each plant gets 1 cup of that mix. I do not water before or after on that day. They get just the fertilizer and I don't water them the next day either because I want the fertilizer to be absorbed and not washed away with water. (2). Yes, I did say fertilize every 2 weeks but I increased it here because my circumstances are different with: night time temps being so low; not having fruit set (they are on tomatoes but barely any on peppers); and the fact that the plants have been under duress due to night temps and the fact that I have aggressively been trimming them. (3). I have no idea if the mixture would still be active and useful after a week or so. I always use up two 5 gallon buckets on my plants. You have enough plants around there that you can just use it up on anything besides what you are trying to improve. It's also good for house plants, trees, fruit trees, shrubs, etc, etc. Would be good on the new transplants you put in the new garden bed area. (Don't dump it! Just don't put it on weeds, lol). If you have any other Q's, just give a holler. Thanks for all your support Barby ❤
@BarbyDailey-Rurallife403 ай бұрын
@@AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu Thanks! I used it on everything. Maybe my container was more than 5 Gal. It was the big plastic litter box size. I may have watered a bit after. We just had a big rain yesterday. Maybe I'll use the extra and fertilize again. Thanks for the info.
@AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu3 ай бұрын
@@BarbyDailey-Rurallife40 I think that would be a good idea, as the yeast may have been washed away after the watering and rain. Your welcome and my pleasure 🙂

First, do you spell your name with a K or C? I just want to get it right ❤. Next, I must say, your garden is stunning! The peppers and tomatoes are gorgeous and you have a huge bounty coming soon! I can't believe the size of the nasturtium, it's amazing as well! Well, everything is just doing so well! I can't believe how low your temps are getting. We've had a cool down here (70's) but going back into the 90's this week. I've enjoyed working outside with cooler temps and no humidity but bracing for the heat wave that's coming back. The mosquitoes have been horrible after all the rain we had recently as well. I will say a special prayer for your garden and those very lows temps coming. I hope it's short lived and everything comes thru it unharmed. ❤
@AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu3 ай бұрын
Hi. It's spelled with a K. Thanks so much for your prayers and kind words 🥰 I think I will pick up some plastic this week just to be prepared in case it does go that low. It's so strange because the day time temps are so hot that I can barely tolerate being outside in it.
