I'm not gonna lie, I was thrown for a loop here myself. I saw the words "Underground Rap" and immediately thought of some of the underground artists I listen to. From Zaia to Wynne to F$O MK, Oddisee, Dave East, Khemist and Mick Jenkins. But once I listened to Yeat, I was surprised and then confused. Not so much by his music or his growing popularity, but by calling him Underground when he's really just Underrated. His style is firing off with all sorts of current Mainstream influences, that doesn't really fit with the whole Underground thing. With all that said, his music ain't bad, but it's not my cup of tea either.
