He has fat fingers and yet he is able to play THAT monsterpiece? I have fat fingers and I always found them to be problematic when playing the piano. But Yefim Bronfman seems to have worked around it somehow.

@@justadude641 Frankly, I find your comment absurd and nonsensical. I accept that Bronfman is a genius, and he has very fat fingers. All I did was wonder how he was able to play so well with such fat fingers. I compared him to no one, not even myself.

I also have a bit fat fingers, and not that large hands. I can only reach a big tenth. Of course I am nowhere near this level, BUT with proper training I think that every person's hands can get used to playing difficult pieces. I easily get tired and can't play big passages of repeated octaves or big chords like this here. Other honorable examples of this are Liszt Rhapsodies 4 and 6 Finale. The Precipitato requires tremendous verical technique (octaves and large chords...) instead of horizontal technique (scales, arpeggios...). Horowitz was a master of the vertical one. Take a look at Richter's hands also. They were a bit fat but he had huge hands like Bronfman's. I don't know their exact handspan but I assume that Richter's was a twelfth...
