Hey Brother, I love your touch I have been checking ur videos 👊🏽. However on this video I have a constructive criticism or at least I hope it will be received as one. In this video there’s no dynamics and this goes to the whole band(instruments) all of you build up quick and stayed up, thus it resulted to sound like there’s no pocketed groove and I know sometimes this happens when one has click track in their in-ear monitor and they keeping time but over enjoying their chopping. That’s my two cents on this video. Be careful of the building up quick, it can make even the congregation loose the message in the song but be on hype of just excitement. Hope you and the band(instrumentalists) understand what I am trying to say. Otherwise big ups to you guys much love from Cape Town ❤

@@ketsilemagangwe7461 I appreciate it. But also consider the fact that we’re also taking the queue from the lead vocalist who kept calling the song so in that instance I had to keep it coming. Secondly this wasn’t the first song in the worship segment. We had just come from another song so the spirits were high.
@Eric_Nkosi3 ай бұрын
@@ketsilemagangwe7461 also it’s kind of tough to keep a locked pocket especially in worship when the entire church is on a high. You tend not to think about those things. It’s all just expression
@ketsilemagangwe74613 ай бұрын
@@Eric_Nkosi well you are right if you are on a medley it’s a bit hard, however there still needs to some sort of dynamics. But I know vocalists 🤦🏽♂️ they can be a problem and unfortunately in that instance you have to follow what they want 🤣🤣

@@ketsilemagangwe7461 and in that instance they always look at the drummer. But I know what you’re talking about when you talk about pocket and dynamics
@takudzwamagumbo31593 ай бұрын
@@Eric_Nkosiwanted to say the same thing sometimes when playing worship keeping the flow is very important it may not look like it was dynamic but to me there were a lot of dynamics applied here and after all it depends on who’s also leading
