Honestly, it's amazing how rare it is for guides to give arguably the most important part of a character's kit besides "Level talents. Use this artifact set."

@@saam7737 the other advantage of the stat guidelines it's you can sometimes even use some offsets like HP% on crown with Yelan or Atk% on Ganyu for example if the CR:CD ratio is good and you lack Atk or Hp stat. I saw some amazing Ganyu and Yelan sets with those crowns.

@@Larkian Exactly! I actually pulled for Yelan yesterday, got her, her c1, and Aqua cause id been saving for a fat minute. Once I get Aqua leveled, my build will be ER sands, Hydro goblet, and HP circlet for a good balance of stats.

Yelan is AMAZING. She has everything someone could want : damage, fun gameplay, good design, versatility, etc. I use her everywhere, in any kind of team. I'm debating pulling for her C1 for more confort, and to lower the ER need for more CR/CD. People, if you don't have her, try to get her, you will not regret it. (Her weapon IS amazing too, can be used on a lot of others characters, and paired with Homa, this is the banner to get both top tier weapons). Good luck Yelan wanters, and pull responsibly !

If you dont get her c1, sac bow is quite like it! It gives her er which she needs (so you don't need to worry as much about it), also it has a chance to reset her skill, it's so much fun!

I have finally gotten her C1 and I can't believe how good it is. And it's small things that you don't often see in guides. I managed to do daily Liyue - Inazuma artefact route in just over 15 minutes (it's 20+ without her C1). Energy stops being a problem even with low ER ( I run her at 135%). She did milk approximately 85 wishes out of me, but I regret nothing. Before today I would sometimes avoid using her burst in overworld but now I spam it even on basic enemies. If you have primos, her C1 is a no brainer.

I just got Yelan and am running Elegy on her, once I get her to level 70+ to get her A4 I’m sure it’ll make my double Hydro Hu Tao team a lot better. Although Mona was nice in that comp with Xingqiu too…

@@aquatazernice!if you want my opinion keep reading.alright you should probably use yelan for overworld then mona for bosses because ult go brr and if u do abyss you can switch out yelan to mona and you’ll have an available yelan for the second team! So you don’t need to completely abandon ur mona

She is indeed quite fun, but keep going! Xingqiu is arguably an even better unit than her, at least by the time he hits c2. And they work so well together. Alternatively get Xingqiu in the starglitter shop next month.

muh yelan is finally completed. 30 rolls and out came her weapon, i got RLLY LUCKY. Got her in the first banner and she stayed on basically every team i had ever since, she DESTROYS EVERYTHING even without her signature, highly rec everyone get the blue woman as quick as possible.

I've been saving for her since the ayato banner, and i finally got her!! She's so fun to play, i have bad artifacts, level 70/80 sac bow and she's level 62 but she can easily take care of overworld enemies, that just shows how strong she is, also if you're going dps sac bow is so fun, it's like having her c1! Also it's great that it gives you er so that you're pretty much self sufficient, i can burst about 10 seconds after the cool down ends and shes got 150 something er

Finally got Yelan after losing 50/50 on her first release, and she is everything I'd hoped and more. I'm pleasantly surprised just how effective her CC is with small/medium mobs, and how little her E hold interrupts her overall team rotations. Honestly, best character I've rolled for in terms of sheer ease of play.

Outstanding guide! Great work. You covered everything. I say this after going from C4 Yelan on original banner to a C6 triple-crowned Yelan now. She's my first limited-banner C6, and second triple-crown character (after Nahida). Before Sumeru, I had Yelan in a HP/crit Thundering Fury set for quicker skill cooldown with Kuki + Electro Traveler + Sayu, but now I play her in a Bountiful Core team with Nilou, Nahida, and Yaoyao. Such a great character.

When pulling for yelan here's some ritual ideas 1: all hydro kill 5 fatui go to venti’s statue and sit in the hands,next wish 2:if there’s a different character on the banner with her go on standard then do a ritual for the opposite character after quickly switch to yelan and pull 3: sacrifice 3 people yelan knows in game the one you don’t sacrifice is the traveller get them to 1k or under,go to yelan fav spot and pull And the chasm worm is her boss btw

I dont know if I'm the only one but i would rly like to know the total dmg difference between Yelan c0 and Xingqiu c6 is. Not self dmg, but overall dmg the character gives the team. Everyone only talkes about them being awesome together but never do they compare them...

Not significantly apart from one another. Overall dmg Yelan is a little better due to 5* stats and high scaling but Xingqiu is not far behind. Look at it this way, two characters who can serve relatively same purpose will now allow you to build two team instead of just 1 being stuck babysit someone else.

It depends, with no buffs, yelan’s damage leads quite a bit but since most teams uses external atk buff( for example in hutao teams there are buffs from nobless, tenacity etc) xingqiu’s damage can be on par with yelan

Saved up 22k...i got yelan on 3rd 10 pull i had 36 pity, so 66th...got the c2 xinqu(had c1) Then selected staff of homa i wanted for raiden😅 On 3rd 10 pull i got aqua bow... I still have 13k Idk what to do now... Should i go for homa or not... Zhongli and kazuha r my first priority over anything.. But feel like staff of homa is calling me😂 Only if knew that either zhongli or kazuha won't be in next patch then i would 100% sure do 6 10 pull.... So tempting 🥲🥲

I have her weapon but I don't plan on putting it on her. She is mainly off field and I find it more comfortable for her to regenerate energy for the team and everyone else. Besides, getting an ER Sands on that EOSF domain is a nightmare.

You're underestimating her scaling. I'm using hp sands, hydro goblet with aqua weapon and I somehow have 175 er with 59/224. I still need mats for final ascension and weapon has 72 cdmg currently. So it would go 64/240 after fully leveling up. And hp is around 35k with double hydro and it'll increase even further.

I saved a bit and already had a lot of pulls into both weapon banner and character banner I had 70 wishes and was hard pity guaranteed 5* on both banners did the weapon first and got both aqua and staff of (currently) thoma in my 3rd 10 pull then I did my Yelan summons and got her in a 50/50 win 5 wishes before pity gotta say saving pulls and knowing exactly what you want and then getting it is by far the best feeling in genshin :) will keep pulling on her banner till it ends and then save for as many cons as possible on her next rerun she just has such a phenomenal design

I pre-farmed for Yelan for almost 2 months. Pulled her, leveled her to 90, upgraded talents to 5/8/8, slapped favonius warbow on her and 36 starred the abyss for the first time ever! I was consistently getting 34-35 stars for 3-4 months straight prior to having her. I'd say she's worth every primo. Definitely an account changer.

@@Trialsentance yes, fav warbow gives her a ton of ER. Probably the best ER weapon for her imo. My Yelan has 200% ER (which I think is the sweet spot to get her ult back up on CD) and 55/180 crit ratio on EoSF set, and a little above 30k HP.

With all do respect, you are underrating the Sac bow. At least at R5. Getting to use her skill twice is great for getting her burst up and is great for damage. Also great for world exploration.

Got both Staff of Homa and Aqua Simulacra today (60-66 rolls each). My Yelan is finally looking Half Decent 35k Hp, 77% CR, 213% CD, 138% ER. Going to work on a better HP time piece or Hydro goblet to get back in the 140-200% ER rec stat range.
