Plot : Munirathna Kurukshetra is an upcoming Indian epic-war Kannada film, written by J. K. Bharavi and directed by Naganna. Produced by Muniratna Naidu, a producer turned MLA, the project is touted to be one of the big budget films in Kannada cinema. The film is loosely based on the Indian epic Mahabharata and poet Ranna's Gadhayuddha with the story centred upon Duryodhana, a Kaurava king, played by Darshan. Besides Darshan, the film features an ensemble cast including Ambarish, V. Ravichandran, Arjun Sarja, Nikhil Kumar, Sneha, Lakshmi, Saikumar Pudipeddi, Sonu Sood, Srinivasa Murthy, Danish Akhtar Saifi, Shashikumar, Regina Cassandra, Hariprriya among others portraying many important characters of the Mahabharata. The score and soundtrack for the film is by V. Harikrishna whilst the cinematography is by Jayanan Vincent. The filming process began on 6 August 2017 with the official launch being held on the same day. Major portion of the filming is being held at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The Movie is planned for Varamahalakshmi festival release on 2 August 2019 and is reportedly shown in both 2D and 3D formats.

Lord krishna had a very beautiful form lotus like eyes, dark skin, beautiful hair having a peacock feather, he was known as dwarkadhish but this guy looks like rubbish as if some demon. I wonder how this ugly person 😂 got such a beautiful role. Plus also the makers didn't care about the physical appearance of lord Krishna this is great insult for our lord. Go and watch B.R.Chopras Mahabharata or Star Plus Mahabharata so beautifully they have portrayed lord Krishna's character.

First Know the difference between movie and daily serial. If they show Krishna in war people ask why war? If they answer why then the makers need to show full history which takes nearly 1 hour length. if they keep showing all that then it won't be a movie become a daily serial. Even in most of the short books on Mahabharata/ sampoorna Mahabharata/ Sampkshita Mahabharata there is no mentioning of Krishna in war. It's an additional information which is absolutely not necessary for film. This is not the only movie showing Krishna playing ludo with wife. Even in Dana Veera Shoora Karna telugu movie also Krishna is seen playing ludo during vastraharan. Take some time to observe different versions of Mahabharata and movies made on it rather than sticking to one version and criticising.
