I came here to mention texturizing powder, too! I'm also a fine-and-thin-haired lady. I usually do curls on day old hair or I skip conditioner if it really needs washing. For whatever reason, any products that I use seem to absorb into my hair better when I do this. They work more efficiently instead of laying on top of the hair and weighing it down. That's my assumption, anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also always blow dry roots for volume (even if dirty), but I'm gonna try the velcro rollers because that seemed like it helped!

I know this video is a few years old, but i do have a suggestion to add volume to roots! You can use a super small hair crimper like the bed head little tease crimper or the voloom voluminizing hair styler directly on your roots. It makes a world of difference! 🥰 btw I'm obsessed with this look! Curly hair looks so pretty on you 💕💕

You can lift with hairspray. Bed head masterpiece is my fave and you can put some puff me in the roots . Works great! Love your look

Super fine hair here too! Kendra vol 25 is the only thing that helps me. But you'll definitely feel the product in your hair. Pros and cons haha 😆

You look stunning. Gosh I love this. I always wanted to do curls like that. My hair is fine. I know your pain. I just tease the roots just a bit and add dry shampoo and hair spray. Since you’re hair isn’t to heavy..it should maintain some of that lift from teasing it. Mine stays voluminous all day when I do it.

You could try a bit of grit powder like "puff me" by the brand "design me". It's on amazon in the states. I put a bit of that in and then back comb a bit. I'm a hair stylist in the states

If you do buy it; section off the hair in the crown where you want it. Spray a puff right at the root. Don't over do it or you'll hate the way it feels

Obsessed with this look! I have really fine long hair and have a hard time getting/keeping volume at my roots. But I have found two products that help! I start off by blow drying my hair upside down with Garnier Fructis Root Amp, and then once I’m done styling my hair I’ll apply Fekkai Full Blown Texturizing Spray just at the crown to give it some grit. I also find it very helpful for next day hair, (rather than dry shampoo.) I get really oily roots, and it keeps my roots dry for at least 2/3 days. So I can literally roll out of bed without having to touch up my hair. It’s great lol. Hopefully you see this and it helps! 🥰💛 (Also, Garnier Fructis Shine Spray is a great alternative to shine without the weight of oil.)

STUNNING: I luv the whole look.. I want yr hair color next lol I've been curling my hair like this thur Quarantine and I'm in luv, I get so many compliments on my curls and color.. I spray my hair before I curl it with a good strong hair spray curl wait light comb my fingers Thru then flip my head upside and use a very light hair spray again my curls and lift stay tell next day.. and I have very very fine straight thin hair.. oh I'm in luv with it, and I luv yrs💞💯👑

Before you curl ur hair put in dry shampoo then while you do ur hair it kinda soaks up the oils in ur hair if thr is any and whn u comb ur fingers thru ur hair after u curl it itll activate the volume and fluff or instead of using ur fingers while rightside up flip ur head upside down shake it out then ull hav a ton of volume whn u stand up

SPRAY WAX!!! I have complicated hair too !! It starts out very fine and a spray wax will give you lift, texture, and pliability!! Redken makes a good one!!

I would say it’s more neutral. I usually tend to get neutral undertone foundations and the warm goes too pink and the cool can go too orange on me
