Yellow jackets tend to build in interesting and surprising places. Unfortunately this also makes them very dangerous, as these homeowners discovered when they were attacked.

I'm absolutely terrified of bees, wasps and hornets irl like I would trip an old person to get away from them (not really, but maybe) 😂😅 but you're absolutely right. I've also been watching this other guy from Arizona I believe that takes care of Africanized hives... You talk about a swarm?!

They spray kills them too slowly.

Depends what you use for sure. I use a mixture that knocks them down pretty quick.

I use the suit to compensate. Something like the dust is slow to kill but easier to get into crevices with air pressure. It all depends on the situation

I killed a queen yellow jacket this spring in my deck box. Luckily it didn't have time to start building. Hate those f'kers

Do you have a suggestion if I don't own a hazmat suit? Bee nest above my garage.

UltraBreeze has the best suits since they're triple ply. You may be able to squeak by with a cheap Amazon beekeepers suit but you're more vulnerable in those

If you are going to use a cheap suit I'd suggest long sleeves/pants under, it will be miserable while you are in the suit but most treatments can be done fairly quick, with the additional layer you should be good for most common nest jobs. It's important to use wise judgment if you think you are dealing with a giant nest of say 3-5,000 wasps just call a professional, by the time you are in for your own gear even at the cheapest price point you are about 70 percent of what you'd pay a pro to remove it and there's no guarantee you'll get the nest.
