Good for you, brother, that's incredible. I've been fighting thoughts like that ever since 2016 when I lost the girl of my dreams 2 days before the planned proposal. I asked her if she wanted me to pick her up from her class that day and drop her off so she could get ready for a hangout with some friends and I (she didn't have a car at the time), but she said she would walk with her friend, who was going to be a key part of the proposal. I had a weird feeling in my gut, but shrugged it off. Then, said friend banged on the door, tears pouring down her face and stuttering, and collapsed into my arms. Once she stopped gasping and could talk, she gave me the news that literally caused me to fall backwards (thank God my best friend and roommate was there to catch me) and confirmed my gut feeling: she was hit by a driver who wasn't at the intersection when they had the go to start crossing, and the person flew around the corner and hit my girlfriend dead-on before flying down the street. I watched her die in the hospital about 2 1/2 hours later. I also attempted suicide multiple times because I blamed myself for not going with my gut. Thank God I didn't, because I wouldn't have had the chance to find my now-fiancée. We're going to be having the wedding next year in the summer.

When this album had just come out, me and my best friend went to see them in concert at the house of blues in Myrtle Beach. The first time I ever heard this song was at that concert, he did an acoustic solo performance of this song after describing how this song is about his aunt being diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was still alive at that time (rip stephanie). There wasn't a dry eye in the building with that song. It made me think of my mother at that time because she passed when I was 5 from a car wreck in 1999. But after father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died, this song hits me different. Nothing is harder than watching a parent you used to think was like superman wither away and die looking like just skin and bone.

I can't listening to this song without my heart breaking as I remember my brother who died of an overdose 3 days after his 24th birthday, or my dad who died of a heart attack two weeks before he turned 60 (and 3 weeks before I could tell him I was pregnant with his first grandchild). Music meant the world to both of them, and I have songs that immediately make me think of each of them. We can't choose what happens to those we love, the universe does that for us, but we can choose to keep their memories alive and find joy in what we once had.

I was watching a movie last night, and one of the characters said “sing for me” to the other that went on stage and AUTOMATICALLY, my mind went to this song and started playing the bit before the beat drops with “stay tomorrow”, whew! I got emotional! My fiancée didn’t know why I started crying, it was because of this song. This song helped me out so much when I was in high school in an abusive relationship (not my current one, don’t worry) that I thought I would never out of. But it reminded me I was so strong then for finally getting through to myself and leaving that toxic relationship. I thought I was was weak during that point in time, when this song first came out, and it gave me strength to push through. Reflecting on those times now, I realize I was strong then, and even stronger now. And I’m proud of being in a MUCH BETTER spot now. Bad times never last. Remember that, to whoever needs to hear this ♥️

Back when I really love this genre. Even though I can't be as fanatic as I was 4 - 5 years ago, I still love this band, and this music. A good decision for my pre-teenhood music. There's something magical within all the instrument, even the singing itself. It's the warmth that only Yellowcard has, that will shine bright for all hearts of the teenagers around the world who listen to their music. Hell, if I could describe how I felt about this music without being poetic pretentious teenager, then I didn't appreciate this music enough. This is a good music.

My girlfriend and I just found out today that we are being separated and have no control over the outcome. We have been dating for soon-to-be four years, when she found out her family is moving. This normally wouldn't be an issue, but we're seventeen and can't see each other if we aren't in the state on a regular basis. Yes, some will say a seventeen-year-old cannot have a serious relationship....but I beg to differ. I may never see her again, which might be the way things are supposed to be. Regardless, this song has been "our" song ever since we've been dating.
