Here in Colombia, you also don’t get a prom, schools don’t give a shit, but, with my class we talked and agreed on doing it ourselves, we found the place, the food, the music, de decor, etc, each one of us will be paying 110 pesos colombianos. Lol in our school in India we call it farewell...the one in school is called official farewell and after that students contribute money and does unofficial farewell on the same day in some resort or restaurant etc... Like everyone goes to the venue of unofficial farewell directly after official farewell
