A rarity, as pointed out by the Ranger, both BeeHive Geyser and Old Faithful erupt, and also show a rainbow over the geyser basin. Video taken on the Geyser Basin Tour, with Old Faithful Inn in the background.

I don't have any friends or family. I get lonely. So sometimes I pick a spot in the world and watch videos only on that city or whatever and try to imagine I'm there for a day ... Yellowstone is my favorite 100

This makes me realize how much I would enjoy bring able to watch entire guided tours which I would never otherwise be able to visit on site and see in person...I'd pay to be able to do it!

Awesome sight to see and that rainbow tops it all off. We plan to be there in a few months and can't wait to see what Yellowstone has to offer. Thanks for sharing!

We are probably generating massive amounts of energy from these geysers and that’s fabulous.

I have seen both go off at the same time a few years ago as well. I wonder if there is some kind of underground connection? Beehive is amazing to watch. My favorite of all the geysers!

They’re all connected.

I’ve seen this exact thing happen. I was very young- maybe six. However, now that I am older and am studying geology, the odds of what I saw happening was so low... it’s insane. I guess it’s only fitting that my passion for geology started here.

Awesome! We were there back in 2005 and also got this rare treat of Beehive and Old Faithful going off at the same time...except we had light snow instead of the nice blue skies and that beautiful rainbow you got. Great vid!

In 2020, as the ridiculous pandemic hysteria was just starting to recede, I was lucky enough to see Grand Geyser foreground, Beehive and Old Faithful in the distance.

What's past due? Yellow stone? The largest volcano in the world? They predicted it's going to erupt, but not for thousands and thousands of years. I'm still in high school right now, but I study volcano books, web pages, anything and everything I can find on volcanoes, and the discovery channel. But yellow stone isn't gonna erupt any time soon, but yeh, when it does, it's gonna take the whole world with it.

So you're making jokes about Jizz or Pimples. Either you had Jizz on your face as a kid or you now have pimples in your pants. You should seek a career in comedy.

Who thinks that??? I think in your effort to make other people look dumb you just made yourself look stupid. I've studied all sorts of world religions and a fair amount of cultural backgrounds, and I've never heard of a group on people that think the world is 2000 years old. I suggest you do your research to figure out why we refer to our calendar years the way we do, because your sarcastic comment makes no sense.

There was a report earlier this year of a man in his 20s who left a designated path at Yellowstone, slipped and disappeared into a geyser pool. A few of his effects were recovered and that was all. The reported temperature of the geysers is 159°F at the surface, but research on a test hole was abandoned at 265 feet when the temperature exceeded 401°F.
