In the spring of 2022, Brandon drove to the far east side of the Uintas Range to go back to a place that we first visited in 2012. The forecast was for high winds and heavy rain, will they be able to get out?!

I'm home this morning waiting for it to warm up a bit. Absolute crazy conditions right now....wind-chills in the teens and it's only October 18th. Damn.... Anyway, decided to turn on the laptop while I'm drinking coffee sitting by the wood stove and lo & behold, a new video to watch. Solo backpacking with a dog or two.....scratches me right where I itch! Really enjoyed this, thanks!

My neck of the woods! Awesome! Perfect May trip out there. I camped in Yellowstone Creek on the Uinta Highline Trail this summer! I have also been to Farmers and Timothy Lakes via the Swift Creek Trail. That is an amazing area! I need to go back. That pond would be perfect for my Tenkara rod! Good times! The dogs looked very happy! Cheers! CP!

I camped in that spot this fall after exiting the HIghline Trail. Beautiful camp spot. Great to see a couple furry hikers with you! If you like the weather in the Unitas, just wait 10 minutes! 😂😂New sub, great video.

Nice trip and how could you get into trouble with those two trail mates. One good thing about mates like that they don't drink your whiskey. Loved the zoomies. Couple of nice fish from the pond. Thanks for the video and take care, Al

That is one great feature about the pups is that they don't drink your whiskey! A bonus feature is that they can haul it up to the campsite for you!

The question has been answered if a tree falls in the woods will Brandon hear it. Yes he will! Remi seemed to handle the back pack really well. I'm very concerned about the whisky. I didnt think it would get worse that OLD CROW....then I saw the Evan Williams. Drank it once....did not put hair on my chest...I woke up the next morning with no hair on my head . Thanks for the adventure.

Great video! I’ve seen so many Mountain Wanderer videos I get nostalgic whenever I here the theme music. I even had it playing in my head last couple times I went backpacking. Can’t wait until I hammer out some of the irons I have in the fire so I can get out more, but in the mean time, thanks for taking us all along on your trips.

dear M Wer, Did u get a new pair of glasses cuz there's something very diff about u !!!!! LOL 8) !! great trip Brandon !!! beaver =fish= yummy dinner !!!!!! looked 2 me 2 b perfect PAN SIZE !!!!!!! u lucky dog u . Dogs just seem 2 b a natural EVEN with a pack !! she looked like she's ready for th next trip b 4 u even got back !!!! ha ! The n.e section of Utah is higher on my list now for sure 8) wish i could afford just wee piece of it .. or wy or Mont, ID etc. but here i am in the great s.w desert .. its a bit of a drive to ANY woodland areas 8( when the mrs retires we wuna git up north a bit so the woods r at the back door so 2 speak !!!! I c some ( all !! ) ur trips r in the kind of area we would like 2 b closer 2 !!!! sadly we hear ID is being over run rather quickly and turnining it into the very thing they came to get away from. Just like our forefathers when coming 2 america !!! Now we have people telling other people if u can have a baby or not !! what happened to the constitution ??? just a safe guarded old piece of paper ???? ok... SORRY !!!
