Corona Mgt/Mktg, is the check ready for a promo fee bc I never authorized my face to be used for your thumbnail?

Hi Ashley, happy you made it to our event! We're glad to simply remove your image from the thumbnail, and absolutely did not come to any agreement for a "promo fee" payable to yourself or any other patron or attendee. As a note, consent is assumed upon entry, with posted signs that include the following notice: "Please be aware that by entering this area, you are in a space where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Your entry and presence on premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, or reproduction of any and all media of your appearance for any purpose in connection to Corona Cigar Co., including use on websites, social media, news, advertising, or other publication. By entering, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at Corona Cigar Co. stores, lounges, bars, and/or during events, live or virtual, including any right to inspect or approve footage, any claims of invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or any fees for use of such recorded media. Thank you for understanding that all photography, filming, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent." Hopefully this clears up any confusion, and thank you for understanding!

​@@CoronaCigarCo whomever wrote this, what is your contact information? It's already been posted for 2 days so removal occurs when? Corona's past events are promoted with the host of said event on the thumbnail, also known as people getting paid to show up and promote their product. Again, I am referring to the thumbnail, not an unnecessary paragraph about what was understood every time I've "entered" these events.

@@ashleycharie Sorry for any distress that this has caused you, that was not our intent in selecting that image. I understand your frustration in wanting the image removed immediately, and the thumbnail has been changed today since our graphics team is in M-F only. Regarding other thumbnails, you will notice on our page that a number of event images actually do feature attendees, not strictly a host or brand rep. Most guests do enjoy seeing themselves in our videos or photos as a memory from the experience. The consent notice mentioned serves to help inform how and why your particular image was captured and utilized in this instance. If, in the future, you do not wish to be captured on camera, please inform the videographer and we can accommodate your request better.
