One of my most lasting Yellowstone Park memories was hearing wolves howling at night during a backpack 0:08 0:08 trip in the Thoroughfare area over 20 years ago. Thank you for sharing this interesting program about an important aspect of wolf research. One of my most chilling Yellowstone experiences was encountering hunters blasting wolf howls from a loud speaker just outside the park boundary in an apparent effort to lure wolves across the line so that they could be shot. When I reported this to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, I was told that this was a legal tactic.
