I’ve booked the other Hyatt Place nearby, on the other side of the National Mall for my trip to DC (and my first trip to the USA) in the new year, and it looks like the interiors there are very similar to this one - I can’t wait!

I like Hyatt Place...clean and simple with all the basics at a decent price. That's been my experience at the two in Emeryville and the one in Bangkok. I thought 3.5 Toffers was a bit harsh but a comfortable seating area in the lobby should be provided.

Unless I was staying at the hotel alone, the sliding door to enter the bathroom would prevent me from booking a room at this Hyatt Place. Otherwise, this appears to be a great looking hotel. I don't need a hotel to have "soul", just a quiet location to get a good night's sleep.

Strip Club/bar next door to Hotel. Hence, probably the reason for the supply of earplugs in the rooms.
