Iran-backed group, Yemen's Houthi rebels, claimed responsibility for shooting down another U.S. military MQ-9 Reaper drone.
This latest missile launch takes place amid the Israel-Hamas war. The Houthis says this took place in a Yemen city called Saada.
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col Bryon J. McGarry said, "a U.S. Air Force MQ-9 drone crashed in Yemen." He added the air force is investigating the latest.

These aren't your small recon drones or something like that. These are large, highly sophisticated unmanned aerial vehicles with a wingspan of more than 65 ft. With now 3 being gone it's clear that these rebels have been provided with serious SAM systems. So SEAD sorties will have to be performed to prevent further losses. Unfortunately I'm thinking they're not ready for such a commitment. Too much half-assery going on.
