I've ever saw someone tried to steal the extra scoop of ice cream at IKEA Alexandra and one of the staff caught them doing it and got scolded. It was really embarrassing!

But I highly doubt the ice cream machine dispense according to the weight. It would be more logical for the ice cream to be dispensed based on volume. So I believe both are the same volume, just that the shape is different.

Ahh this was also a problem in Ikea indonesia too bc kids saw it on tiktok. The kids I know got caught bc they were giggling too much. They were taken by the security. And they had to sign a declaration that they wouldn't do it again which I think it's quite funny. If u wanna get "more ice cream", don't giggle too much. Don't put it on tiktok. Don't get so much more ice cream that it's noticeable 😂

you arent getting more. they didnt detect the amount of ice cream by weight. they already measure how much its gonna comes out per coin. try pulling it down to increase the weight, you wont get less ice cream
