What is it with the current comments on this video. I’m honestly so disgusted by some things people say and how everyone thinks it’s so easy to make comments like this online and not get any repercussions from it. I don’t even want to bring in the argument of “what if it was your mother or sister getting said things like this.” Normal humans should have the basic decency and knowledge to know that it’s NOT right to make comments like this to ANYONE.

The girl who filmed the guy in the gym is such a touchy and sensitive issue because everyone would handle it differently, whether being confrontational or filming someone for evidence. I think from her perspective, it is understandable that she did it in "self-defence" and also to justify what she has done. However, I think that uploading it to the internet for everyone to see WITHOUT finding out the actual reason or even trying to solve ANY misunderstandings. Lmao, the posting of the video was mainly fuelled by an almost malicious approach with the intention to bring the person down. At this time and age, the current generation should be aware of the detrimental effects of defaming someone through the internet, it's either people are with you or it could back fire horribly like her case. I think that if her approach was filming someone as evidence based on her own assumptions that she's being harassed, she should have escalated it to the people who would actually do something rather than the online platform for us to judge (We all know how THAT would turn out). Anyways, stay safe and please make smart decisions especially with posting videos online :l A camera phone is legit such a deadly weapon.

I don’t know what laws you guys are reading, but it is NOT illegal to take photos of people in public spaces in Singapore. The only exceptions would be if it’s a place where privacy would be expected (example: public bathrooms); if the photos taken are outraging someone’s modesty (example: upskirt photos); and if the person posts your photos online and makes defamatory/harassing remarks about you. I, too, am very disappointed with the lack of protection that this gives to people. Both from being harassed, and from having false allegations be placed upon you. :(

Sometimes, its better to know the full story then just full blown judging after hearing one pov of the story... And ladies, the Women's Charter laws are very strong in Singapore.. If he really is staring u at the gym, either confront him after taking the video or take video and then report to the gym staff there. DON'T POST IT ONLINE WITHOUT PROPERLY VERIFYING!!!!! For u could be an honest mistake, but for him, especially with SG laws, it could cause him major humiliation and even might make him lose his job.. You could take down the video, but he isn't gonna get his old job back.

Ok, the biggest problem here is that people don't understand nuance. There is a huge difference between checking out someone you find attractive and being a creepy stalker. Also ladies, men cannot approach with with blinders on, they have to look and see is it worth it to come up to you and risk rejection and maybe humiliation for the opportunity to Date you. Ladies can you look at a random man and tell me anything about him other than his looks? No, you can only see if you find him attractive or not, then decide if you want to get his attention, but if he isn't allowed to look at you and try make eye contact then how? Side note, we do not live in a world of privacy, those days are over. All your online information, videos, whereabouts, everything now everyone has.

The first story I’m gonna give an L to the woman. Well keyword being so called”influencer” hence attention seeker. Also why is she feeling herself so much? So syok sendiri thinking everything is about her. People stare in gym and eyes are everywhere. She could have reported to the staff and handled accordingly if she knew it was a threat. Defamation is not a light matter. It could have destroyed his life and his career. Imagine the mum of that guy go everywhere and her friend says “ eh your son is that guy got caught one ah? “ imagine losing face on family gathering🥲. People stare and it’s a public place so I’m supposed go gym blindfolded or something? If she is so worried she can go gym that are for woman. Yes it’s common now or just go different sessions. In my uni days we separate the girl and guy gym sessions.
