Irish man here. I’ve stumbled on these videos as I’m learning Korean and they are actually really interesting from a reverse perspective. You commonly here these phrases joined with their meaning, at least for by all means and by any means. So “Can I take this chair?” “Yes by all means go ahead” or “Yes by all means certainly” And “That chicken wasn’t tasty by any means at all” You will hear it more in British or Irish English as we like to add more sayings for emphasis

First thing, I just want to say 'Thank you'. There is a play list on my youtube. I start to play the list when I go to sleep. A couple of months ago, I added some videos more into it and two of them are yours. Anyway, When I first created the list, there were four videos and one was yours. The video that you give us inspiration in Sebasi. I was by all means moved. You said this in the video. " Someday, someone told me that 'You're okay. You've been working really well. Don't be too hard on yourself' I really thank for them because they must've said that because they care about me a lot. But there is one truth that is never gonna be changed. We can be better when we push ourselves to our limit. We have to get over this limit. " I'm not sure I've translated it right or not. (Haha... it is not by no means) It was so impressed and it made me keep working and learning English. I planned my goal and I've been working on it. It is by no means enough. I have to work harder like It can't be harder anymore. I will make it and I won't regret myself by any means.

개인적인 경험으론 by any means 는 necessary랑 합쳐서 by any means necessary가 at all의 의미보다 많이 쓰이는거 같아요. 무슨일이 있어도 반드시 해야한다! 하면 by any means necessary라고 영화에서도, 특히나 급박한 상황에서 임무를 수행해내거라 라는듯한 대사가 많이 나오는 액션 영화에 많이 등장하는 말이더군요.

The video is by all means very handy for me. i am by no means consistant, but it doesnt mean i dont try. we can in no way ignore how much more hassle it would be. even though it might take less time and money as well. i never think of myself by any means kind or something. i dont think this book is good for kids on any level i wouldnt say my language skills are good on any extent, but i will get there. i am earger to learn. no matter what changes he might make to the way he teaches, i would by all means be happy with it. because i already know it will be awesome in every way.

You are by all means a great educator. 2. by no means: => 어떤 경우에도 전혀 / 어떤 방법(식)으로도 전혀 (~안된다, 아니다, 할 수 없다.)(긍정문) => not at all / in no way (already including negation itself) ex. I am by no means in the mood for late night snacks. / She looks satisfied by no means. 3. by any means: => 어떤 경우로도 / 어떤 방법으로도 / 어떻게 보아도 (~안 된다, 할 수 없다.)(부정문) =>at all ex. I am not a hard-working student by any means. / I don't think he's eligible for this position by any means.

유용한 표현들 잘 보고 있습니다. ^^ 질문이 있습니다. There is a diginity in being waited for. 이 뜻이 제 시간에 도착해 (늦는 사람을 )기다리는 사람이 dignity 가 있다는 의미가 맞나요 ? 아니면 늦는 사람에게 diginity 가 있다인가요 ? He waited for me. (= I kept him waiting ) 이 문장이 수동이 되면 I was waited for 이게 같은 의미인가요 ? 그럼 위의 의미는 내가 늦게 도착하는 사람이 아닌가요 ? 만약 그렇다면 제가 생각하는 시간개념과 달라서 의구심이 생기네요..

by no means와 by any means가 조금 헷갈립니다....! by no means를 이용하는 I’m by no means an expert in this area.라는 표현을 봤을 때 I’m not an expert in this area by any means.라는 식으로 by any means를 이용 하는것도 같은 의미 전달인가 싶어서요. 같은 느낌인게 맞나요? (긍정문에 'not at all'이라는 느낌을 넣는다는게 어색하게 느껴져서 헷갈리나봅니다)

My son is by no means interested in playing soccer. ( time-consuming, by far more required skills, not understanding rules....)He didn't even watch last Ghana vs Korea football match and just was into computer games at that moment. He hardly plays any sports these days. I am afraid these things will by all means make him fatter and unhealthier on his body ( i wish playing computer games could help his mental health by releasing his stress 축구하는 것에 전혀 관심 없고 심지어 지난번 한국과 우루과이 하는 축구도 보지 않고 컴퓨터 게임에만 빠져있었다 . 요즘은 운동도 거의 안하고 이런 헁동들이 그를 확실히 살찌게 만들고 육체적 건강에 이롭지 않게 만들까봐 걱정이다( 게임이 스트레스를 풀으므로서 정신적 건강에는 도움 되길)
