Kpop twt usually need someone to hate on, sadly he was targeted for no reason. (some) Girl group stans were targeting him by saying the moves were "inappropriate" and how it's unfair compared to female idols and how women are treated in Korea...but the choreographer of GGUM is a woman!! She's shared it with so much excitement and happiness, so it's annoying seeing people hate when it's literally a woman's work.

This hate train just solidified his 4th Gen IT boy status. They just proved what he said in his song. Him and this song will stay in people's head like GGUM. This hate is not about the song and the choreo at this point. They are hating on him for just breathing, bro. Also, twitter hate IS NOT REAL. This boy topping charts right now with just a pre-released track of his mixtape. People Love Yeonjun and some twitter accounts can't change that fact.

It's so freaking good, but a lot of people aren't ready for something this unapologetically unique. It's fine, they can go listen to the thousand other artists that look and sound and dance the same. This debut is iconic, period.

Thank you for caring about Yeonjun, he's just a shy and silly guy who works really hard to improve constantly and people are mad at him cause they know he has a huge impact (as shown by how the song topped charts and the recognition he got from the whole industry, professional dancers etc)!

The people that "don't like this" are just a bunch of lifeless 12 year olds on twitter that want to hate on the first thing they see on the tl. Every single person i showed the song to, or i watched the reaction of LOVED THE SONG, and literally the entirety of moaville loves it too, and if someone doesn't it's completely fine but BE RESPECTFUL ABOUT IT. anyways, junnie ate as always 💕💕

its becuz kpop fans find any reason to bring down an artist... all moas understand the contradictory standards in kpop. All kpop fans are aware. Many moas fight for other groups and such (at least in the communities ive seen?) to stop unfairness. But now we have to bring up a random hip thrust so we can boderline bully YJ on his solo.. it's not inappropriate. And idk why they are so concerned with what his dance is doing 💔?? I love his choreography, and i also in the same breath think all idols should be able to dance and dress however. I think its unfair for Naeyons Solo to be censored on music shows (because it has been, and it was actually apparently her own choice but regardless) fans just want to hate on him for that... Can we not hate dumb kpop/korean standards for women while also supporting idols at the same time? Liking ggum doesnt mean I am ignoring the double standards female kpop artists go through??? 😭 It's so ridiculous

It's growing on me the more I listen, I've loved all of the performances, I just don't love the song on it's own. But I can appreciate him not coming out with a cookie cutter solo debut and he destroys the choreography people hating are crazy.

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t follow TXT at all and mostly know them through Changbin being besties with Yeonjun 🥰 I’m a SKZ stan for a reason, so when I see other artists getting experimental-especially for solo stuff-I am instantly on board with such curiosity 🤩 And after hearing this song? I can see why he and Changbin would get along musically 🤭🥰 I dig it. I’m looking forward to see what else Yeonjun does 🤩
