I did Gypsy Glen the other night in the dark - only my 3rd time too but it was awesome fun - it gets seriously fast! I hope you are noticing that every trail centre or area has its own character here in Scotland - that's why we are so lucky :)

Hopefully, next time (because, there will be a next time) you will get a nicer Scottish summer. They totally do happen. Note, that the midges are a lot worse when that happens!

You can carry digestive aids (enzymes and/or Betaine-HCL) with you for ride days - eat what you want days to not get that heavy feeling. Don't take too much though - things at the other end can get . .interesting. Get capsules, so you can dose to avoid that.

Midges, 😂 youve not experienced them fully then, smidge is one of the best, but the best is Avon skin so soft original, midge killer and better than any of those deet or smidge.
