"Slenderman", or perhaps Jack was being really nice and considerate, asking you beforehand if you were willing to see him, confirming that it was him flashing the blue light (sort of testing the ice before showing up), and being all slow in his movements when he did show up in the doorway because he knew you´d freak out xD He even sounded delighted that you COULD see him. I don´t know what kind of energy he brought into the room, but to me it seemed like he wanted to communicate in a friendly manner.

@KermaPippuri8 ай бұрын
@@EzdubsquestionI have noticed that a lot of ghosts just enjoy what little humor and joy people bring in to their environment. Like how John loved to dance with the boys. Some are confused and scared because they might be stuck in a time loop, and some are more aware. The connection between the dimensions is bad too, so a lot gets lost in translation. I feel like when (possibly) Jack said "I don´t stop" it sounded more like "want me to stop?", like he was asking if it was too overwhelming.

1:20:40 Notice how directly after the ghost has said "I will show you" that there is a kind of order to the stuff that happens. First thing is the thud when they start the process, meaning they could have been trying to replicate the noises heard during the time of their death aka the banging on the walls of people trying to escape. Next is the drop in temperature as lights shine in the hallway representing that the incident could have happened at night where it is colder and where there are guards who patrol the complex. The next thing we hear is "I don't stop" in a deep kind of voice while it sounds fragmented in a way meaning that the ghost would have been trying to replicate a phrase that somebody uttered during the time of their death to which is nearly immediately followed by the dark figure walking in the hall to represent the man behind it all. My guess on the story is that the ghost was a woman who had a bit of a "one on one" with somebody to put it lightly. She probably asked him to stop to which he said he doesn't stop while he loomed over her knowing that they are less likely to get caught when there are less wandering around as it was late at night and the only ones patrolling were the guards who probably did not think much of the man probably because he was a doctor at the facility at the time. That is the best I can come up with when it comes to this as she never outright says how she dies.

Interesting theory: when you guys were in the room where the guy unalived himself, sam said '10 seconds', you guys counted down, he said 'cheers' and when you finished, he said 'great'. What if he was counting down before he poisoned himself, thought 'cheers' and did it. Then after he passed, he thought 'great' like 'now what' or great as in 'this is what i wanted'. And it said 'its not the time' maybe indicating that it wasnt his time to die.

1:00:07 Fun fact! The numbers might have some significance! During WWII the military used a code called the 'Phonetic alphabet' which was adopted before the NATO Phonetic alphabet. 25 was the phonetic letter for 'Fox.' This system was designed to avoid misunderstandings over radio transmissions especially in noisy or challenging environments. Numbers were easier to shout out quickly rather than letters, and they often meant something related to their operation. "Confirmed 25" could mean anything from somebody with PTSD from WWII. From confirming 25 pieces of equipment, confirming a target designation, or could indicate the amount of personnel or participants have been confirmed for a meeting, mission, or event. When I heard that phrase it blew my mind, and I wonder if others know about this!!

It's even more plausible that the ghost said "1918" since the two are almost identical. On 25th of April 1918, which is directly linked to WW1 of course. The germans did a counter offense on British AND Australian troops. A bloody day for Australia that must've been. Perhaps this is what the ghost wanted to bring across?

I was actually thinking this. There was one more moment which kind of reminded me of a certain something from the evacuations. There was a contraption designed by the australians called a drip rifle (a rifle connected to a container which slowly filled up with water, pulling the trigger to deceive the turkish soldiers while evacuating). When the boys said they heard something like a drop it kind of reminded me of that...

58:59 "Maybe they thought it was 1980" This sentence bought me to a revalation. What if these spirits are stuck in a version of the asylum from 1980 that only has them and the other spirits that died there, and they can hear the boys talking to them faintly and are responding to them as it comes through the spirit box? That may seem silly but the spirits thought it still was 1980 and that could possibly be why.
@sp5c3707 ай бұрын
fun fact about that shadow person you guys saw upstairs . if the spirit does not pass on and stays in the asylum the spirit becomes more disproportionate and grows bigger over the years and forgets there own looks and starts looking more like demons . so that is the reason why the spirit was so tall.

I did some research on what's said around 1:00:00 and found that on 26th of April 1980 a mother and daughter were official reported missing in St Kilda,Victoria, Australia, very close to where this asylum is. The last sighting of the two was on Anzac day, hence the relation to the military, on the 25 of April where mother, Louise faulkner, and her daughter got into a car with Louise's lover, 60 year old George sutherland, and then were never seen again. They were meant to be headed to Gippsland but when it says "lost" perhaps the family got lost and ended up at the asylum which is just outside of Melbourne,about 2 hours away. At around 1:00:50 it says "get to the bottom of it", this could have been either Louise or her daughter asking for her mystery to be solved as the police never figured out what happened to them. Narrator also says "spare us" which may mean when the family arrived at the asylum, the family was taken forcefully and put into the asylum where Louise and her daughter could have been experimented on until they were killed.

Theory: The souls that kept saying Narrator's name they feel the sense of protection over him because they can most likely sense he is a veteran so they felt comfortable around the boy's because of him,so they decide to explain about April and the war around him and how they keep stating things about him. And in 1:22:24 if you put your Quality on 4k you can see a figure of some kind it looks to be a lady standing with a white dress,and it looks like she is slanting like she is trying to peek into the room and behind her you can also see a tall dark figure walking past her and it makes sense since it sounds like 2 people where talking to them and it doesn't seem like it was edited because of their reactions.the lady looks to be far away from the door tho. 1:21:41 if you look at the back and you see that door you can kinda see something there,people might see a different shadow or idk,but you can see at the black area a white figure with out it's legs out if you zoom in (for me i see this)

I have like 3 theorys. At 48:21 it mentions eddies name and sacrifice. In the beginning they said they did not want him there and later poked him. They thought he was ganna be left to die as a sacrifice for them when he was in the bathtub and that he has a death count. That was why they said those things. Then when Josh was going into the Hall alon to check what the noice was, and it was when at 49:41 it was when it said "stab in the dark". After he said and and Josh went to check they said hopelessness as it was how Josh felt, unknowingly of what to expect in the hall after it said stab in the dark In 51:15 they mentioned narrator cause he is the main one to protect the boys. As it was said before that the doctors treated the women bad and that many things happened to other people that they wish for protection, knowing that narrator was the one to protect the boys if needed and thought that since he could do that, he could protect them as I believe April was one of the women (victim) who were treated poorly by doctors Those are my 3 theorys

What I got from the two estes methods was that James was in the asylum because of his PTSD from being in ANZAC and in the war (which could explain why the non-australian accents confused him), and when he asked narrator to protect him, I think James was actually asking Narrator to protect him from himself, he died in an insane asylum where he suffered from PTSD from the war and probably hurt himself due to severe guilt and loneliness. This video was insane and I loved the collab. I came here for Same and Colby and found another channel I love watching.

(1:00:06) I did some researching on " confirmed 25. 200 dead" and found this disturbing story of "Canada and the first world war" "The military passed over 200 death sentences on members of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, but confirmed only 25. Twenty-two men were executed for desertion, two for murder, and one for the act of cowardice. Condemned soldiers spent the night before their execution in the presence of a military chaplain. At dawn, they were led to a post to meet a firing squad. The firing squad of ten to twelve soldiers received both live and dummy bullets so that no one soldier could know for certain if he was responsible for the death. Following an execution, the names and offences of the condemned were published in General Orders and read aloud to assembled troops in order to serve as an example to all soldiers in the British Expeditionary Force." This explains what the ghost could've been talking about.
