Hi Armando, At this moment everyone who's vaccinated can enter Armenia without quarantine. If you're not vaccinated, you should have negative test for the latest 72 hours. Here is the website where you can check for future changes/restrictions: www.gov.am/en/covid-travel-restrictions/ Regarding customs - there is nothing special. Being on the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Armenians are close both to Europeans and Middle east nations with their customs and habits. I'll say that they are more Europeans rather than Middle East nation - close to Greeks, Italians, Georgians with their behaviour. It's a Christian country with tolerant, welcoming and friendly people. Hope you'll like your trip to Armenia!

The great thing about armenia is that the society and the people aren't "rushing to go somewhere".. that's why the atmosphere is calming and relaxing.. and that's why its perfect place for tourists who want to escape from the huge busy cities like New York for example.. in yerevan you can unwind, relax, be yourself, eat, dance.. connect with nature and be one with the universe.. at least that was my experience in armenia.. Another important fact about armenia is that there is no history of terrorism( knife attacks, suicide bombing, etc..) in the country nor do they exist. Our two neighbors turkey and azerbaijan know this well.

Welcome to Armenia guys! ☺️ Of course there are Azerbaijanis claiming our capital city in the comments. Do you guys even know what it’s like to have thousands of years of history. No because Azerbaijan is only 100 years old. And the Azerbaijani identity wasn’t a thing before the 18th century. Now you try to take or falsify other nation’s history (Armenian, Persian/Iranian, etc.) how sad…
@YALQUZAQ_AZ
@YALQUZAQ_AZ 3 жыл бұрын
The history of the Irevan Khanate is an integral part of the rich material and cultural history that the Azerbaijani nation has been developing for millennia. The Irevan Khanate was one of the Azerbaijani states, Khanates, established in the wake of the collapse of Nadir-shah's empire in the mid-18th century. Currently the territory of the Armenian Republic, until quite recently - early 19th century - it was an Azerbaijani state of Irevan Khanate. The oldest indigenous population of this land was the aboriginal owners of the territory, the Azerbaijani Turks. The territory where the Irevan Khanata came to existence is one of the oldest Turkish lands. Hurrits, Cimmerians, Scythians, Saks, Huns and other numerous Oghuz and Kipchak Turks who were closely involved in the formation of the Azerbaijani people inhabited this region, in particular the lands around the Goycha lake, and left a profound historical and cultural trace. Significant historic events and processes described in «Kitabi-Dede Gorgud», a heroic epos of the Azerbaijani and other Turkic nations, took place in the territory of Irevan Khanate, in this area. The «Oghuzname» commissioned by the great ruler of Azerbaijan, Uzun (Long) Hassan (1468-1478), the «Kitabi-Diyarbakriyya» narrated that the warlord Oghuz, the predecessor of the Oghuz Turks, lived, died and was buried in this area, on the shores of the Goycha sea. The khan of khans, warlord Bayandur, and many other Oghuz Turk rulers also lived and died, were buried in these lands. The territory of the Irevan Khanate had always been part of Azerbaijan, from the most ancient times, excepting periods when the land was occupied by different invading empires. These lands were also one of the regions of the most close-knit Azerbaijani Turk community

@@YALQUZAQ_AZ wow… I love how brainwashed you are. The Turks migrated into Anatolia and Armenian highlands in the 11th century. That’s a fact and a simple google search would show you this. That’s how “ancient” the Turkish history is in our region. The Azerbaijani identity was formed in the 18th century. In fact, this is the first reference of the Azerbaijani people m.imgur.com/a/6MHKIq9 from 1861. The Armenian identity is thousands of years older than the Turkish identity in Anatolia, let alone the Azerbaijani one which is fairly young term. It’s like the North Macedonians fighting over history with the Greeks, it’s absolutely silly. As for the Safavid empire, google literally says that it was Iranian. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erivan_Khanate Just because the some of the rulers were Turkic doesn’t make it Azerbaijani. That would be like Armenians claiming the Byzantine empire just because some of the kings weren’t Armenian origin. The same empire is responsible of relocating hundreds of thousands of Armenians from Armenia into Iran. www.iranchamber.com/people/articles/armenians_in_iran1.php Again, a simple google search literally disapproves your entire text. But even claiming the Safavid empire which was formed somewhere in the 17th century to claim a city that’s thousands of years old is shockingly hilarious. The sooner you accept that your neighbour has a older history, the sooner peace will be possible. In fact, when you tell an Iranian or even Iranian Azeris that the Safavid empire was Azerbaijani, they will just laugh at you. That’s how shockingly misinformed you guys are.

Great video - have always wanted to know a bit more about Armenia and looking forward to future videos...BUT...sorry to be a pain - when you got to markets please show us more of the fruits and vegetables and meat/fish on sale.. I wrote before and let you know how fascinated I am by food so that would be a nice addition if you get the chance!!! Forgive me for complaining, though!!! David (London)

Thanks David 😊 Only so much you can fit in 12/13 minute videos unfortunately 😞 It is always a balance between showing too much and too little. Too much of something and it all becomes a little repetitive and slow paced, then the majority will click off and stop watching 👎 We are always open to taking personal videos for our Patreons though 😉😁

Matt & Julia, first I would like to welcome you to the beautiful country of Armenia. Enjoy your stay and have fun. Secondly, I'm so glad that there are so many Turks and Azeris trolling the internet and watching videos about Armenia. Lastly, I would just like to suggest for the Turks and Azers to learn history and mind their own business, look after their own country, talk about their own issues and comment on videos about their country.
