If they are rust free these are absolutely fantastic cars/vans, with his engine in especially the direct injection turbo version, they are so refined, loads of power and cracking MPG. Go for it would make a fantastic set up 👍🏼

Just couldn’t refuse it, was the perfect little van to save as well as use…. Makes a good project. Looking forward to getting started on it. Oddly more space than I expected in the back

I was always a critic of small car vans, but there genuinely is more usable space in the back, to a 3 door fiesta car with the seats down.

I had a have a escort with that engine in ran it for years 50/50 diesel used engine oil ran fine ended up needing to much welding so got scrapped

Yes I had in immaculate escort van same year as this 51 plate, had next to no rust, ex London council gardeners van…. Wish I hadn’t sold it!! Only thing it was the Endura DE non turbo, very agricultural and slow, the Endura DI (direct injection) with electronic pump and a small turbo, don’t half make a difference….. especially in a striped out fiesta van. Ford really have made some cracking vans, even down to she smaller ones, fiesta van/escort van/courier van

I drove a non turbo one of those once- it was sooooo slow! That one seems tidy though and it has a turbo!

DI direct injection makes all the difference with the electronic pump and the turbo is a bonus. Fantastic little van. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Does look very good for an older Fiesta van, rare too. I like those old Fiestas, always really liked the dashboard and how it cuts so far into the windscreen on the passenger side to leave more room. Should look a different thing with those Puma wheels too.

Forgot to say, I saw pump on eBay for £150. You can get them rebuilt for £3-400 and run veg. Don't run a silencer. I fitted 14x6 steels. Ideally banded standard 13" rims to 7" wide. Ladies love 7" I hear..... They say 8" doesn't fit ...rubs the sides too much....har

Yeah cracking little van suites me perfectly. Better van yes in someways, but the other van was bigger and had extra seats, so hard to compare. Thanks for watching

Change the fuel pump for a Bosch VE from a landrover TDI. Bigger element. Just change governor spring. Same injection dwell but more fuel. Then maybe an intercooler. The pump will support 130bhp then. Standard pump is junk.

Yeah I picked up on that, very much doubt it would of come with a CD player….. I just use my FM/Bluetooth transmitter. Going to try do something about the corner sticking out, that irritates me
