Hi Dan. That is a nice and rare vehicle. The service / history file is what many people hope 🤞, comes with a car purchase, but rarely does. Colour is quite nice also. I hope you show us underneath view on the lift.Good look with the roof lining and seat repairs. May be a bit expensive though 🤷♂🤷♂ See you in the next one. Cheers.

Looks great, love the luxury badged models of cars, had a Peugeot 106 Roland Garros and it was a lovely wee car, of course nowadays virtually every car has the luxury features as standard, you hardly ever see a car with steel wheels and wind up front windows now

Yes it’s funny ain’t it this clio is Uber top spec, but these days base models come with all this spec standard. Still rather have an old car vs new junk lol

here i'am again! I replaced the xenon headlights because It was damaged more than yours, I bought them original from Renault, €400!!. I had the headlight washers removed because the jet of water after a while ruins the plastic of the headlights. I keep them cleaned often by hand! .Your car has been looked after with great care! you made a great purchase!

Yes these lights can be very expensive, so you have completely removed the jets, does that not leave holes in the bumper? Should have have just pulled the fuse or disconnected the washer pump…. Only think they are required for MOT of car fitted with HIDs what these are ?

Hi Dan The Clio Initiale was actually not a special edition but the top range (part of the Clio elegance range) to compete with the likes of the Fiesta Ghia of the period. As you refer much better specification and all the toys as standard. I have the privilege of owning a low mileage manual version myself which has been in the family since new,. This was at FOTU this year.

Yes I’m sure I spoke to you at FOTU when I was filming, was telling you I had just got rid of mine. Yes top spec but since so little of them were sold they basically are more limited than most special/ limited edition variants

@@CarAddictGarageNE Correct! Total production for this version is approximately 2500 units. Curiosity: of these 2500, 95 ''arrived'' in Italy. At today only 36 have survived. How do I know? I wrote to a famous Italian car magazine (quattroruote) to ask for information on this car. It's not officially a numbered limited edition but in reality very few were produced!

In Italy there's few pieces, i found a lot of in Netherlands or Germany but nothing in France! , almost all automatic. I've one my2004, 1.6 16v, manual, 4 door.
