"A good desk will last you forever" oh boy I learned that the hard way when I first made my setup. I bought a cheap office desk from office depot and not even a year later the fake wood finish was peeling off 😭 I'm gonna reference this video when redoing my setup, you've never led me astray with your wisdom before

Personally if it's a budget setup i wouldn't spend money on a headset stand since it's purely for esthetic. And would balance the monitor with the computer. If you want a budget setup you probably have a budget pc, not always a too budget but something like that. I would have choosen a 165hz screen for around 150.@@gigimerebashvili2728

Actually budget keyboards are so easy to build like the leobog hi75 is a 75 Alu keyboard with a knob and it cost like 60 bucks 30 if you can get someone to ship from china and if you want to go akko YIU can go with the monsgeek m1 which is also a 75 alu keyboard but 100 bucks

i really love you vidoes and recomondations, but what is missing for me is a monitor arm. it makes such a big difference, and they start at relatively affordable prices, and make your setup much more organized and flexibile. (got mine for about 30$)

What a chilling build video. I'm from Europe, so those Bestbuy deals won't get me anywhere, however, I love the simplicity of that setup for how inspiring it is, backed up by the music and the soft tone you put in you voice while speaking. Speaking of that actually, thanks for including a mic test. It sounds really good to me and certainly better than my G433's and G435's.

I have the black HS80. I love it! Upgraded from a Logitech A10. Idk why, but people were saying the A10s were so comfy, but they were incredibly stiff and creaky. Def not for black women with protective hair styles. HS80 changed the game for me. So comfortable, incredible sound, easy adjustment, good quality, and excellent wireless connection. Cosair might have me if I can replace my razer stuff. Can you do a video reviewing and recommending the best corsair keyboard and mouse? I absolutely love your content! Look forward to your next post. Merry Christmas! 🎄

Great video Oz. This is also something I always recommended to my friends and family. If you wish your desk/computer to look nice, just buy the eye candy items. I.e. a new good looking PC case for your old components, RGB for the light show 😄or some new peripherials. Its really simple some time. You should 've also mentioned to visit the hardware store and buy some cable management tools for hiding the cables under the desk. *Everything* has to be looking good. :-)

The keyboard I got is the Magegee 100 key mechanical keyboard. Currently goes for 32 bucks. The keyboard has good lighting options, a long wire, and comes w/ a num-pad, alternate keys for important keys (enter, arrows, etc), and a keycap remover. Also, for headphone guys who don't care about mics, The audio technica ath-M30x have been my daily driver for years at this point. Solid craftsmanship, very transportable since they can fold and have a black leather carrying bag, so if you do a lot of travelling or laptop work, they're convienent to move around. They're also not modular (wired only), but higher grade models are.

As someone who knows mechanical keyboards, brown switches seem to be the most common for good reason, even I like the fact I can get a keyboard with brown switches and just use it for basically anything. Yet to see one fail either.

Like the style and your usual excellent video making ability but this video plays just slightly too much like an ad. There's not enough reasoning or info given about the products. For example, CRI and temperature are important for the light bar, especially if one wants to use it to light themselves for a camera as suggested. A headset stand seems out of place, considering you're a budget channel and that's $20 for a hunk of plastic. As for the portable SSD, You can get cheaper AND smaller by going DIY. Get an NVMe drive and find an enclosure with the RTL9210B controller. If you want super small, get a 2230 like the SN740 with a 2230 or 2240 sized enclosure. And a note on the mouse: I don't have that exact model, but I have a similar one (G502 I think). It suffers from the dreaded Logitech "doubleclick issue." The mouse switches are soldered on and the enclosure is actually designed not to be put back together so if you do fix it yourself, the scrollwheel gets permanently screwed. Find a mouse with hot-swap switches. You'll thank yourself in 2-6 years depending on how many button presses you do per day. I have a gladius II now and am almost ready to swap to my third set of switches (aim down sights in games is no longer holding consistently), and recently swapped out my scroll wheel encoder for the second time.

Looking strictly at new parts, the RX 6750XT is about $350. This would leave $150 for a Ryzen 5 5600 on AM4, or i5-12400F on LGA1700. If you’re willing to buy used, the RTX 3070 can be found around $300-$350.

I'd also recommend getting something to put your PC on instead of putting it on the ground if you dont want to end up with a dust magnet ! A desk that is at least 120cm in length (I personally have a 140cm and everything fits even with full size keyboard) would be nice to be able to fit your case alongside the rest especially if you made a build that looks good. That would be unfortunate to just hide it under your desk and let it gather dust.
