You are my favourite extraterrestrial, thank you for the shout out, sorry for being so late! (You're wrong about the B-17 but as a Shipyard I can see the attraction)

Dockmaster, it really isn't that difficult to paint little army men. I'm an old squishy, stuck in a slowly failing body; but still enjoy painting. There are three huge tricks that I'd learned as an old human to still enjoy the hobby I love. First, get a magnifier. No, you don't need a microscope, just a visor to place over your ocular receptors with a magnification of 1.5 or 2.0 is a huge help. Secondly, get a good task light that isn't too bright - bonus points for something in the spectrum of whatever "natural light" is emitted by the star you orbit. Third, and perhaps most importantly, keep your manipulators braced to each other and, by extension, the object you're attempting to paint. I keep my wrists pressed together, not sure what the analogy would be for your anatomy. Using that technique, any tremor will be expressed equally across the whole assembly and therefore nullified. Unfortunately, I must report that the third technique is utterly useless when a forty pound grandchild cannonballs into you with no warning. While wearing wireless earphones is great to not annoy the mate with one's listening to certain youtube channels (ahem), it does mean there is no auditory warning when one's offspring arrive with their offspring... resulting the the aforementioned cannonballing and inadvertent application of paint pretty much everywhere. Oh! In that event, immediately dunking the space bug upside down in a glass of water with one hand while cuddling the squirmy squishy with the other works fairly well.

Battleship Texas is cool, Battleship Iowa in California though a friend of mine served on her during his Naval career and he helped with the restoration and setting it up into a floating museum in California. Him and his wife even promoted it on their local radio show he used to co-host with her "Kate and some old guy" he called it lol

Being retired and of limited physical mobility, I am already subscribed to more than a hundred channels. Nonetheless I shall take a look at each of your recommendations and see if I can subscribe to some more. Meanwhile, I counter-suggest Habitual Linecrosser. He is currently serving in air defense for the US Army, and tells many stories about the history of that topic, as well as sliding around the limitations on what he can talk about it in reference to current systems and current usages of them. I am not affiliated, I am just a fan. Oh. Also, thank you.

TL;DR: i think DRG is objectively(ish) a very good game and very well made and designed in many aspects...i dont like when people conflate opinion on how much they enjoy the game with how good the game is on its own...that's (id imagine) why alot of people get butthurt, they dont understand how ANYONE could dislike a game they love, the opposite side of the coin, thinking someone just not enjoying a game means they think it's objectively bad, when they might not. as far as deep rock galactic, and any games, i do my best to seperate my personal liking of a game and how much i enjoy it from its objective(ish) quality... For DRG, from what ive seen in my own gameplay and from various channels (most notably sniss) there's alot of good things its doing, from its balance of weapons/difficulty, its stance on modding and how it handles it, its battle pass esque system and the lack of monetization around it, etc. it just seems like a very well designed and good game worthy of at least some of the immense praise it gets... what bothers me is when people say a game sucks simply because they dont happen to 'jive' with it...whether its cuz they simply think 2D graphics are inherantly "worse" than 3D or just cuz they 'dont like RTS games' and so think they're just bad...it's annoying. as an example for me, i despise factorio...a top-down factory building game with some defense mechanics as you pollute a bugs world to try and escape it... just dont like it, not my kinda game and a friend kept getting me to try it again and hate it even more.....but it's a solid game, the graphics in it are well done and the stuff they keep adding is amazing, space is up next and it looks cool...i still hate the game and i refuse to play it, but that doesnt mean it's bad...
