A suggestion based on the build I think you'd have more success going rod into abyssal then full tank. Or maybe rod, sunfire then abyssal. You get ap from rod, magic pen from boots and abyssal lowers their mr so to make better use of abyssal's passive you go full tank while still doing decent damage

yeah, he def needs to be building sunfire to keep his damage up and maybe liandrys if he really wants to build more AP still. i really do think he should be building tear though, tear + catalyst/RoA would completely remove his mana problems and let him spam E as much as he wants on the wave in lane/sides without goin OoM, then fimbulwinter is cheap AF and lets him get a huge HP spike because of RoA mana and it makes his trading pattern even more obnoxious since they wont be able to fight back after the E's.

As an avid enjoyer of this style, if you prefer the higher ap build I recommend you to try sunfire rush into liandrys (buy sorcs when you can) into either abyssal or jak who and actually max w it slaps hars

Im playing Naut top for quiet some time but haven’t tried full so yet. I usually go for bamis- roa- Sunfire and then it depends on their comp

Try conq+POM & conditioning btw. You can be more flexible with itemization that way. Roa is ok-ish but falls off midgame. For dmg on Nauti his highest scaler is actually Ability Haste, so play around that with itemization. Abbyssal is interesting, but not sure if the value is great?

Sorc boots are great early but also fall off hard. Especially mercs & boots of swiftness are just too great in value. Tabi are bad as always
