Honestly i love u baus but your performance this game was pretty troll. You had a fed Zeri and couldve played front to back peeling as one of the best cc tanks in the game but tried to be a hero everytime by diving the backline and dying. But hey what do i know im not as high ranked as u.

Thats difficult to do with his build. He said himself the build might need to change. If he went e.g. bamis, abyssal, frozen heart he is actually tanky enough and has the ability haste. Zhonyas and rod are both very expensive, less than 1/3 of ur gold is put into defense and have 0 haste. A naut who throws 2 hooks per fight and almost dies to 1 taliyah combo doesnt do that much peeling. But then u kinda throw away the lead u had and instead of pressuring the malph, from minute 10 onwards both can fully ignore each other and malph taliyah ezreal have so much backline access it becomes difficult to defend a brand and zeri. I would have opted for the tank build, but i love supportive tanks. Baus plays assassins his whole life so he might do what he does best.

A suggestion based on the build I think you'd have more success going rod into abyssal then full tank. Or maybe rod, sunfire then abyssal. You get ap from rod, magic pen from boots and abyssal lowers their mr so to make better use of abyssal's passive you go full tank while still doing decent damage

yeah, he def needs to be building sunfire to keep his damage up and maybe liandrys if he really wants to build more AP still. i really do think he should be building tear though, tear + catalyst/RoA would completely remove his mana problems and let him spam E as much as he wants on the wave in lane/sides without goin OoM, then fimbulwinter is cheap AF and lets him get a huge HP spike because of RoA mana and it makes his trading pattern even more obnoxious since they wont be able to fight back after the E's.

I wish they'd fix Nautilus W. It currently drops followup W stacks when the first expires, resulting in a 50% W damage loss per attack after the first in a 1.25 second window. I don't think any other stackable dot does that in the game. As to mage-tank hybrid builds, I'd guess a decent set of items would be: Boots + Rod of Ages + Abyssal Mask + Zeke's Convergence, with Archangel's + Malignance if ahead or double tank fill if behind. Zeke's is cheap, offers good defensive stats, and still provides damage and soft CC to secure a kill. I'm not sure how much better it works compared to more traditional tank-turned-DPS strats, like Heartsteel/Riftmaker or Heartsteel/Bami's.

man, bauss is a good player but i really wish he would chill and actually think about his builds properly because he seriously overvalues raw damage too much, when sometimes being able to live long enough to /deal/ said damage is much more value. like for example, his decision to build sorc boots for slightly more damage in lane is 100% the reason he dies to lucian under tier2 later on because he doesnt have any armor/the tabis reduction against the guy who autos a bunch, which then causes him to start rethinking his build when his build is completely fine! of course youre squishy to the ADC when ur only armor is from natural armor growth!!

luden compagnion* not sure spelled right, is also great, with a rod of ages you can go archangel scepter with it, you won't be glass cannon with the amount of extra mana you get from rod, and it's only good vs heavy hp tank like sion, mundo, a tank urgot, and if sorcerer shoes aren't enough consider switching them to a void staff later on, but normal abysall mask and sorc shoes are enough

Found a Naut top today and I laughed so hard because he was clearly inspired by bauff with the typical thought "he wins easily so I can do it too if i pick the same champ". The problem is that E is really easy to dodge and then you are a sitting duck. I just got hit the first time to see the dmg/slow but then, after dodging it it's just a free all in with an aggressive toplaner like Darius...after the second kill he ragequitted typing insults in chat at minute 4 😂

actually in season 11 i played alot of HoB naut mid, its hilarious tbh because the w is an auto reset. so i would ruin bruiser naut builds like w/ stiraks and the extra auto speed would just chunk people out. especially against like a yas / yone/ zed / ahri you catch them with the root passive and they are stuck there for 3 autos. if you make your autos powerful enough you can kill them.

i dont know if baus will read it but ap bruiser naut is not that strong. Naut doesnt have good base stats in the late game and the ap scaling on your E is also very bad(55%ap). If you want to deal damage and be tanky try to build liandys + sunfire/hr and full tank. You can also try full ap because the scaling on your Q W and R + lich bane are actually quite strong.

Baus, you are challenger i am silver so i know my advice may not have value. Delay your AA stun after a grab until the grab stun is almost done, or else you are stacking a stun for no reason. This doesnt give more dmg or anything but extends stun time and might save you in a fight or get help in that time.

Naut top is not an AP pick. His AP ratios suck ass, he is a better tank with back up AP damage, or an AD bruiser with ap abilities. He is capable of brawling with most tanks and even jugs/bruisers due to his base armor, but as an AP he is just too squishy
