Wow, Jon Anderson’s voice has barely changed in 50 years. Pretty incredible.

He's 73 now. Mind-blowing he can still sing like this.
@apassionfortangling36716 жыл бұрын
He hasn't got any taller either lol
@drwugong6 жыл бұрын
He can't, I think it's been really heavily mastered post production. The whole concert is well out of line with reality, I think there has been lots of over dubbing or something.
@MusicVersa6 жыл бұрын
There's no evidence of that. The lead vocal line is very clearly taken straight from the board and is not overdubbed or autotuned.
@drwugong6 жыл бұрын
You're living in a dream world, Yes have never sounded like this on any of their live albums. The quality is better than yessongs, which is completely unrealistic. There is even overdubbed crowd noise. If you think JA can sing like this today, or even in his mid 20s, for a full concert without any bum notes or flat tones or anything bad at all then we will have to disagree. Not that I didn't enjoy it, it's just not them live IMO.

I like the way Trevor approaches playing iconic tunes in his own way. Rick Wakeman is as cool as ever and when you're that cool, you can wear a cape if you want to! The most striking thing is Jon's voice, better than he used to be... Incredible!

Remarkable how YES can rotate through all the different personnel and still sound like YES, but with one exception: There is only one Jon Anderson. Accept no substitutes.

Yeah, I guess. I saw them twice in the ‘70’s and have watched everything I can find on KZbin. To my ear, the drums and keys are the only plug ‘n play positions. It takes Anderson/Howe/Squire for me to fully appreciate them.
