There's just something so awesome about seeing someone else who has discovered yes and has the love

@@mobeus84 They we’re an incredibly talented group of musicians. I didn’t grow up knowing about them, but once I discovered their sound, I was instantly a fan. Thank you for the comment 👌🏾.

You do a great job here. This song (among others) has me thinking that Yes operated at a much higher creative level than most.
@juanjavierm2 ай бұрын
Yes was clearly a band ahead of their time. This can be seen specially in Alan White's drum sound. In 1973 (Topographic, Wakeman's Six Wives and 1974 Relayer) he made drums sound as many english and american bands would do in the nineties.

You are all over that neck. It accentuates how good Squire was. He didn’t just sit on the root. Great playing. You nailed it!! Well done. Thanks for doing this.
@woot1404 Жыл бұрын
Squire definitely knew how to make a tasty bass line, whether he anchored on the root, or flew up and down the neck. I'd never claim to be the most knowledgeable YES fan out there, but studying some of his stuff made me appreciate their music a whole lot more 🤘🏾. Thanks for the comment!

Great cover! Drama was an underrated album, but had so many interesting ideas going on. Trevor Horn's fretless bass on Into The Light was amazing on it's own, but especially considering who he was putting on the sideline.
