the real answer is the weapon was created on a separate development track to the recent 60 day buff patch and thus didn’t receive the same knock back changes as every other gun, also why it’s so underpowered- it was supposed to be super high caliber compared to other DMRs with but since everything else got a massive buff it’s just a meme.

I have never melee killed so many enemy's before. The armor + stuns + shield + Stim booster, you can just run in to hordes of enemy's and keep spam melee button. Highest melee count so far was 246 in one mission.

@@IronGearProductions Yes, it one hits Warriors with the armor booster if you hit is head. Usually they take about 2 or 3 hits. You can one hit anything up to a Warrior, Hunters, Pouncer, Scavenger's, Shrieker's. The Bile ones are nasty for melee, since they pop when you stab them. Which does quite a lot of dmg. Anything bigger like Hive Guards and up will take a few hits. But with a Stun they have no chance. So far i have successfully melee killed every Terminid variant except the Bile Titan.

vs Terminids, Helldivers 2 just turned into Monster Hunter with Gunz's K-style. There are videos of people using the slide to get around a melee strike of the enemy before going in with a kill, so expect stylish bayonet kills from here on.

Notice how the charger doesn't even need to attack you to pop your shield, he just turns and two-shots it. meanwhile you need 3 stuns and 11 hits to kill it in it's weak spot, and you cant do with without the shield protecting you, and also the gun part of it is trash. Maybe helldivers deserves to be allowed to fail, if its filled with people who think this trash isn't insulting to you. Someone is going to load in, blow all your respawns, all because "it's fun".

Had the most intense fight with an Alpha commander yesterday. Went full krieg and charged the filthy alien. My faith in managed democracy saw me through. Absoilutely loving the bayonet gameplay. Just wish the rifle did a little more damage. 3 headshots to pop the head of an alpha, around the same or more for a hiveguard. considering it only has 5 rounds, it does struggle.
