22 year software engineer. I've worked building custom search engines and large databases. This is 100% deliberate. It actually takes a lot of extra code to limit search results like this and specifically hand pick the articles to be displayed. This isn't a bug or a data issue (anyone who said that has very limited experience in software). This is purely out of desire to control thought, which in turn controls you.

Engineers are very stubborn though. If you were tasked with controlling people and censoring based upon political ideology how would you handle it? You can’t keep a secret like that when a huge engineering team is working on the project. How do they programmatically determine what is good and what needs censored? How will they update this list of bad topics? There may be bias in relevancy scores but I bet it’s an algorithm rather than explicit.

The AI systems are no doubt being used against the people in this way. However, the AI must also be programmed with an agenda. So there is always the need for engineers to continually tweak. There is also the need for low level workers to "flag" or "star" articles for priority. It all is usually very complex over all.

I'm sure it has happened, however I do not have proof of an exact example of such censorship. And some videos that have offered some interesting information have not been taken off even though they offer things like a "cure for cancer" that was actually done by a doctor in the 1930's. He was designated a "quack", his medical license taken away, his wife divorced him, and he spent the rest of his life struggling to get any type of job. He died broke and destitute. Another great man, scientist, and inventor everyone still knows today, Tesla, basically had the same thing happen to him due to his fight with Edison and Westinghouse and was America going to use DC electricity (Edison) or AC electricity (Tesla). Plus, Tesla didn't want to "charge" people for his inventions. Can't have that now, can we? Even though to this day we are using the same electric motors he invented back in the 1880's. Tesla didn't just invent the electric motor(s), he perfected them. Oh and its frequency, sound waves that can cure any disease (virus) or cancer in the human body without any invasive surgery (not to mention neither whales nor elephants get cancer. but they still need more money and time after all these years for cancer research? They've been "researching" cancer since the 1970's!). You find the resonant frequency of the virus or cancer cells, and hit those cells with their resonant frequency and it kills the virus, or cancer without any harm to the body. 3 treatments a week for 15 minutes for a total of 6 months, and all test patients in the 1930's were "cured" and lived regular full lives into their 70's when they had been diagnosed terminal, and no more than a year to live at best. Tesla said:"If you want to understand the mysteries of the Universe think in terms of frequency, vibration, and energy". Which in physics is basically called "The String Theory". What makes "matter" matter. Check out Kinesin Proteins if you would like your mind blown. Simply amazing, and words fail to come to mind when you learn about them. Because they shouldn't "exist" and work the way they do. And they are found in every cell of living creatures. We have seen them (and much more inside cells) using an electron microscope, so this isn't any kind of "theory" either. Just thought I'd share some of what I have learned through the years. It's like how there are still articles, and videos of sightings of "Bigfoot". Big Dummies. The guy that created the "hoax" of bigfoot with that famous picture from the 1970's came clean about it on his death bed. He worked at a Hollywood film company, grabbed an ape outfit, modified it, and while consuming much beer he and his buddy one afternoon made that famous picture that went viral. But people still make claims of "seeing" Bigfoot so they can get their 15 minutes of fame not realizing that the guy who made the very first picture came clean that it was all a hoax in good nature. But when it went crazy throughout the country and world, and "experts" claimed it was a legitimate photo, he then got scared to say anything worried about the backlash. Big Dummies (from one of the greats Redd Fox/Fred Sanford. lol) lol So we still get Bigfoot videos on the internet, and how aliens built the Great Pyramids of Giza, but what about real science and not science fiction? Take care and all the best.

Right as the "Pandemic" was kicking off in China and it was barely a blip in the US I started to investigate mask usage and the efficacy of homemade masks and which materials would work the best. There had been several studies done in the early 2000's and I was able to use them as a reference. Once the spread started to make it's way to the US and across the globe and the mask debate began to heat up ALL those studies disappeared and were replaced with "Studies" from 2015-2018, it was unreal to see that happen in real time, to see the information curated, insanity!!

Yea, I found it fascinating how studies that showed ‘contracting viruses/sickness through your eyes is almost as common as contracting them through your nose’ were just burried when covid came out. The same studies that proved our face masks (that don’t cover the eyes) were useless. The surgical masks were like using a screen door against a rain storm. Yea, it’s better than nothing, but if it’s raining, shouldn’t we close the actual door? Why were Gas Masks (that actually protect you from biological aerosols, like Covid) banned from most public places? They actually removed people from flights who were wearing gas masks and not the useless surgical masks and nobody noticed or cared? We unknowingly witnessed one of the biggest intentional cons of all human history in 2020. Mark my words, future historians will be looking back at how billions of people were puppetted, imprisoned, and killed for profit.

So basically all the international options not there anymore. Private sellers not an option. Google is not really a search engine anymore, its a marketing enterprise.

And how much funding are local brick and mortar libraries getting in comparison to a search engine pushing a desired narrative or information outcome? My guess is that in about 20 years, libraries as we know them now will not exist. They will be bulldozed or have the book shelves removed and replaced with even more server racks loaded with whatever information the highest bidder is willing to pay to have pushed upon us. They used to have a very accurate statement about computers: Garbage in, garbage out. That has never been more correct than it has the last few years with the talk of certain narratives being forced upon us instead of the truth and talk of election hacks and electronic fraud of all types.

Stock up on unplugged entertainment; watch some DVDs of your favorite stuff, play games offline, spend time with friends and family in person, work on yourself (working out, exercise, etc). I have an original copy owned by the author herself in the day, and a modern reprint. In the reprint, there's multiple pages without their original texts and some sections are omitted entirely. Google started meddling with the search results around 2007 in order for shock sites to stop popping in the search results. Next was 2013, search results for both Google and KZbin are curated and mainstream entertainment was prioritized but it was minimal. I believed they did this after Gangnam Style became viral. They don't want Hollywood to get left behind. Next was 2017 after Trump became president. Then 2020 because of the pandemic and the latest is in 2022 because of Russian war with Ukraine.

When I did Tech support for several companies we would use Boolean Search methods to narrow down to what we needed. In 2008 Google disabled this for the lead up to Barrack Obama (and also excluded any negative article about him). After he won they loosened the controls briefly and you could get access to oposition sites for awhile. However they began tweaking the Algorithm bit by bit until we have total control across all search engines by one entity. CHINA

I noticed something similar happening over the past 5 years. I'm a huge music fan and every so often a line or two from a song will pop into my head and when I go to Google it to figure out who it is, for the past 5 years even though I'll have multiple lines in the search bar, I get pages of results of lyrics from popular songs that sometimes remotely match what I put in, but very often are nowhere near what I searched for. And the only way to get the song I'm looking for to pop up is to put those lines in quotations and even then I better have the lyrics exactly right otherwise I'm never finding what I'm looking for.
