I think people forget that Amy is 12 at this point in time, and the whole point of her story in SA is her realizing she should become more independent. Sonic serves as her motivation so she "needs him" but she always jumps in to help other characters on her own and even stands up to Sonic at times. The comments boiling her character down to just a crazy fangirl who only cares about sonic is toxic but is a common trope seen with female characters in media. She is a 12-year-old who's passionate about her feelings for the one she loves. It's crazy that some fans act like Sonic hates her when at worst he gets annoyed with her for very brief periods. She is adventurous, compassionate, brave, empathetic, impulsive, naive, and most importantly a kid who is still growing up

The Sphinx line is a better translation in the Russian version. There, it translates as “I do understand that you adore the Persian cats, (but if you ask me, Sphinx’s are far cuter. So why don’t we just shave off their fur?”). In this context, it’s far less sexual innuendos and more clear that she’s speaking in metaphors. Basically, Amy is willing to completely humiliated herself for Sonic’s attention (painting herself blue) and if that doesn’t work, then she’ll sabotage her competition by shaving their beautiful hair off instead.

She wants to project to the world that she's sweet, innocent and pure of heart (and to her credit, she pretty much is), but she has intense incontrollable passion that simply cannot be suppressed. And if anyone attempts to do so will simply be met with Amy's quick irritation. Notice that the lyrics are sweet but the whispered background lyrics are suggestive and shrewd. The open lyrics is what Amy want's to project to the world and the whispered lyrics are her internal thoughts and her true intentions.

Amy is seriously lacking in backstory , so let's change that. Her dad , with army connections as a weapons contractor for G.U.N. , got her training. The red and white are army colors for toons , the dress is custom designed , and her boots are army standard issue. She got weapons training , but didn't know how to rationalize it with her compassion. Even getting metal shop training , and is worried about looking butch. Boys called her "amorous" for being a hugger , and her dad called her his "army rose." So she named herself Amy Rose to defuse them both. She think's she's self-centered having her own wants and goals. Ever sense she saved Little Planet after it teleported into the side a mountain. (This was editing error in the original CD ending , when Sonic threw a rock at Eggman.) She had smacked her head for realizing she had the missing time stone the whole time. And when she returned it , the good futures she made returned as well. But because Sonic wasn't there , neither were the Flickies he let have the place. So she sacrificed her pride , and returned Sonic's final ending. Explaining why see going nuts about Sonic when she gets worried about the future Amy does charity work in SA1 , using her dad's money to counter his bad karma. Shopping till she drops for the best food she can give , and saves from small businesses. Helping whoever needs her , even giving hugs while guided by her compassion sense. And through blind wishful thinking calls it her "Sonic Radar."

😤 okay. As creepy as this song may be. I think it's save to conclude that Amy is in fact a megadere (- a deretype who is obsessed with their love interest in a fangirl/fanboy fashion and won't be afraid to show their interest towards them.) Amy has never shown any eerie signs or presence nor does she tortures anyone. She never ruins blaze or anything. While I don't know the full context of sonic battle's story like cream helping amy on her workouts I dunno the full context, I've heard that amy still helps make up the thinks she screwed up for everyone.
