These young boys... Jon Anderson is 78, poor Chris Squire passed away at 67 from leukaemia almost 8 years ago. These guys were (and are) my heroes, and Yes music was my religion growing up (and still is). I'd like to think that they are immortal, but alas...

John Alex~ l could see him saying that. l know that _for him_ leaving the group WAS the best decision he could have made. He developed a hell of a lot with Crimson...and his chops just got better and better. He is not ''thee best'' drummer around.... but he is my favorite, because of the way he interacted with the audience all three times l saw him live. He's a powerhouse... with gobs of charisma and a great smile! Those 'Bruins' overalls were pretty dang cool too! XD

Lo que sucedió fue que, les pidieron hicieran una serie de temas para grabarlos y reproducirlos como presentación de la banda, en la Televisión de Bélgica; Sin embargo, tanto a Chris Squire como a Tony Kaye, desde el principio no les agradó la idea del "doblaje" de un tema; sin embargo, el mánager aconsejó hacerlo por ganancias extras para la banda que andaba promocionandose en Europa. Al final, Chris y Tony, quienes no estaban de acuerdo, decidieron "cambiar de papeles" y tocaron instrumentos de los cuales no tenían más que la Teoria, solo para manifestar que esos videos solo eran para la t.v. Great song from early Yes. I became a fan in 71, and never got the chance to see them until the Relayer tour a few years later. Outstanding! I saw them many times until the incarnations began substituting for Jon's ill health. I have to hand it to Davidson on a video I caught he sounded more like Jon than others they subbed in.

It cracks me up that Squire & Kaye switch instruments for this promo. And it's cracking Chris Squire up midway thru Tony Kaye's keyboard solos that he's not supposed to be doing them. But he knows them pretty well!!!

I imagine that the fun joke of Chris Squire simulating the keyboards and Tony Kaye the bass, may have started because Steve Howe was not very comfortable, simulating a guitar that was not his. So to make him more comfortable, they made this joke. "You didn't play that guitar, but neither did Chris play keyboards, nor did Kaye play bass. :

@@Johnnyhumbkr he means the guitar part. This whole album was recorded with Peter Banks on guitar but he was already replaced with Steve by the time they shot this video.

One of my ATF's "YES" was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame last night.....about friggin time!! I first heard YES as a teenager around 1972, and they forever changed how I related to music! All these years later, and I still see them nearly every time they visit Phoenix!!
