This "Yessong" video is not complete. Because some songs were missing from the triple album released in 1973 as a result of the show held between February and December 1972. 1 - Opening [excerpt from Stravinsky's Firebird Suite]; 2 - Siberian Khatru; 3 - Heart of Sunrise; 4 - Perpetual Change; 5 - Mood for a day; 6 - Your Move; 7 - Long Distance Runaround 8 - The Fish; 9 - Starship Trooper. Drummer Bill Bruford participated in the show on songs 4, 7 and 8. He was later replaced by Alan White. Greetings from Niterói, Brazil.

This is just beautiful. I came to Yes with the release of Yessongs, and these performances have always been defining for me, even as I and my barely teenage friends dug backward into their catalog. I know that "initial contact bias" is a strong force in forming opinion, but these songs, these Yessongs, were performed so well that maybe the "bias" is actually an objective status for my opinion. And, wow, it's been nearly 50 years since I first encountered it.

Actually, the only way to really listen to Yes is on a good quality stereo with high quality headphones. There is just so much intricate stuff in their music that the only way to hear them is with headphones or see them live. I will quote a friend of mine who has seen everyone from the 60's on in concert. And Yes was the only group he ever stood up and cheered for. I believe it. Two musicians alone at such a pinnacle of amazing ability, and yet completely devoid of competitive jealousy and remained close friends until Kieth’s passing. Went to the 50th annv. Close To The Edge show last night at Hard Rock Live in Gary, Indian. Fantastic show! They are tight, Billy has gelled the with group really nicely now. Steve is still amazing 50 years later, boggles the mind. Thanks to all of you for a lifetime of this music.

Anyone have or listened to "Seven Shows From Seventy Two"? I got the Nassau, NJ & Montreal. It's shorter than "Yessongs" but, IMO much better mix on the two shows I have. If you love YES. It's worth checking out.

Who else remembers watching this movie (and others like "The Song Remains the Same" and Pink Floyd's "Live at Pompeii") at their local midnight movie theater?

Saw them on Tales and Relayer tours, at New Haven Colosseum. Tales was an amazing show; Relayer very impressive but lacked magic, perhaps because nothing can top your first live experience of a top band. Steve Howe is outrageous. Although Beggar's Banquet, Workingman's Dead, and Marquee Moon more closely express/span my pop music taste, virtuoso prog--Yes and King Crimson--seared my teenage brain. I fondly revisit those psychic artifacts from when life was expansive and I was yet to make mistakes which truly mattered.

You reference a couple things I don’t understand but overall your comment makes me think we would totally understand each other. I’m from west coast you’re east coast but we are connected spirits because of Yes. God and Yes touch your soul.

Saw it in the movies when I was 12 years old . 1972. The sound quality always angers me. Unforunately YES never mastered a good recording quality. Live Album also is not very good. In comparison Seconds Out by Genesis is formidable.

Saw this at midnight at a downtown(Rockford Il) theater. While the crowd was about half the size of the ones for Led Zeppelin, Song remains the same it was still quite the surprise. You didn't need to bring your own weed just breath. Everybody was high.

Este es el mejor concierto que Yes nos dió en los 70's, pero lo que nunca entendí, fue el porque no filmaron todas las canciones que están dentro del álbum triple

Best triple album ever made. Only seen faded clips, so thanks for the great picture. Too bad sound quality doesn't match, can barely hear Chris Squire's booming bass lines. A real pity, this album proved that live, wasn't a better bassist alive. Today, they are still touring, but without him, they just aren't Yes.

I saw this on VHS in the 80s and there was some kind of commercial/ad or video featuring a motorcycle and some kind of rock music car chase ending in a crash or cliff launch, does anyone remember this and what it was? Was it related to YES or just a commercial?
