Yesterdays | Breaking Out All Our Christmas Decorations

The Rundown:
- I bought 4 new trees, one snow globe & 3 nutcrackers. 😂
- 98% of my christmas decor is from HomeGoods two years ago.
- Adult drinking game : take a shot everytime I say Robert's Winter/ Christmas Wonderland. 🙄😂🎄
- Sublime tee's are from Urban Outfitters.
- The kittens broke our christmas tree last year but so far so good.
- I think I rearranged decorations only 4 times this year. 😂
- Not really sure where I got that pepperoni pizza looking neon christmas tree but I think it was Amazon?!
- When decorating any area I try to work from the outside in, placing larger or taller pieces on the outer corners and working in towards the center with smaller pieces.
- Also when placing decorations I constantly step back to make sure I can see every piece and nobody is blocking anybody.
- Flannel is Nike x Supreme
- Sunnies are J.Lo x Quay
- The christmas tree did NOT weigh 400 pounds
- The door handle pinched the skin on my pinky...don't ask me how?!
- Sweatpants are Jeremys 😂
- Home Alone 2 is the best sequel ever made.
- I'm not sure the name of our tree but reading off the box it says 7.5 Deluxe Smokey Mountain Mixed Needle Tree??
- One of the plugs came undone and thats why is wasn't lit!
- Tiny's turning 18. 😳
- Tree skirt is from.....you guessed it! HomeGoods!
- LED cluster lights that are strung thru are from Roberts.
- Tree Topper is from World Market.

I lost my grandma 9 years ago. Found a birthday card she wrote me way back when and a check along with it that I never cashed. Legit started balling! Sooo crazy how you found a Christmas card from your Nan randomly! That was her just saying hi and that she misses you I’m sure. After my nana passed away i woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom on the way back from the bathroom I found a plane ticket in the middle of the floor. It was a ticket from the flight I took to go actually meet my nana when I was older. I couldn’t believe it was in the middle of the floor because I had it put up in my closet. But I’m glad I got to actually get to know her before she passed. I believe she was just saying hi and thanking me for going to see her and get to know her because we really did have a good time. We are a lot alike and very intuitive.

When I worked at Micheals craft stores, I would create the holiday displays and I string my trees vertically versus wrapping the light strands around the tree. I feel it helps distribute the lights. You can stand in one spot when it's time to undecorate and pull them out. It's less wear and tear on your lights hopefully avoiding having bulbs out next year!♡♡

This vlog made me so happy! This will only be my 2nd Christmas without my Mama. Last year we went away for Christmas. But this year we are home & my hubs and I live with my dad in their home. I put up my Mama’s tree yesterday & it made me so happy! She would have loved all your decor! Christmas was always her favorite time! How sweet you found a card from your Nan. Cried when you found your grandmas Christmas card. I lost my Grandma Christmas Eve 1999 when I was 12 . She had a brain aneurysm and was on a breathing machine and we took her off and she passed on her own dec 26th. She stayed with us one last Christmas even though she was brain dead. I loveeee Christmas time but it's so hard without her. I'm sorry about your grandma and I know she will be watching over you and be by your side Christmas 💜 I definitely felt you finding that card from her was a sign to show you.

We have a tree with white lights too, and every year I put 2-3 strands of color lights on because it just makes it so much more fun. Also i love that you don't have a themed tree. I think trees are supposed to be fun and i just don't understand the need to stylize a tree. Each ornament on my tree has a memory behind it and a reason why its on the tree, its not just some colored glass ball that looks cute. Its fun .
