Smaller likelihood of seeing the fireworks because of seating at those restaurants. Better to eat a bit earlier then go on the beach for the firework show than to risk being seated closer inside of the restaurant & missing the show.

I'd imagine that the beach in front of Hale Koa is a good spot to watch from. The best vantage point would probably be from a boat in the water for the added effect of the reflection off of the ocean.

Most likely! The fireworks are shot off in front of Rainbow Tower though it's really nice to see the fireworks from the beach too.
