maybe you can compare the Megatower against Nomad, should be also a good comparsion

Yeah, I wonder if I know anyone with a Megatower. I owned the 1st gen but have very little time on the second. I also don't have any footage, but I'll see what I can do.

@@NICADV I subscribed and just watched your SB 135 review. Excellent! I own the old SB 140 (short rider) and was thinking of getting the SB 135 for my daughter. And your riding all throughout and especially at the end down Drop Shaft. Wow!

Just got my new 160 and i frickin love that thing

Yeah, I been riding some more lumbering enduro bikes recently and was stoked on how even handed the SB160 was.

I tested both on the same trail and the sb160 scared the shit out of me because without going as fast as possible it felt dead to me where the sb165 felt more comfortable when I wasn’t trying to find a tree at full speed.

Which one would you choose for a long PNW trip (Bellingham, North Shore, Squamish, Whistler)? I rode my Canfield Lithium there last year and really just wished it had longer chainstays for the faster terrain

Echoing this question as I have a job offer 40 miles south of Bellingham

I it depends a bit on your height, but for me at 5'11" I'd go SB160.

Another excellent review and makes sense. Have to really decide what terrain you ride the most. I'm going back and forth on mulleting my sentinel v3 because I always feel I miss the traction of the 29 when I rode the nomad and 5010. Keep them coming!

I threw a 27.5 rear wheel on my SB160, and report similar findings, but with 5mm less travel. Stack, Reach, BB height are eerily similar.

Thanks for the vid, Can you compare nomad against dreadnought v2
@NICADV4 күн бұрын
Yes. I do also have a comparison video of my favorite enduro bikes of 2024 which includes both bikes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH2TeGWCg79qfqMsi=lP7QiEDwgPRRjDco

I rode these bikes literally back to back on the same trails, & I think the 160 is better, has a tad bit more stability & on climbs it doesn’t loose traction

I'd have to agree. I see the benefits of the SB165 for shorter riders and Rampage level freeriders, but for everyone else the 160 delivers.

@@NICADV heck yeah. It always seems like "the agreeable big travel bike" from most reviews. Curious on it for sure...
