You shouldn’t. What makes an artist important is the fact that they are unique. I don’t think anyone should try to recreate anything but rather finding what makes them special and different their own way.

when i first heard softscars in december, i thought, "good album" and moved on. found myself coming back to some tracks the following month until the album fully clicked. been obsessed with your work ever since, yeule my personal takeaway every time i listen to the album is that you've been through so much. the way you pour all of that onto it with lyrics and a sound that feel true to you is something so special that has not only helped you but us listeners. i for one can say that i can't stop being inspired by your music, evolution, aesthetic, visuals, and overall expression, and this music video is once again another testament towards all of that. you've achieved so much already and i hope you're proud of it. keep doing what you do and never give up

Fun fact everyone: Can anyone remember Yeule's post about ghost following her around 14 and loving the polish language years ago? The craziest part about this is I remember 3-4 years ago Yeule posting a reddit post about who she was and how her creativity came along. I remember her talking about she felt ghost were following her and a butterfly and listening to this song just captivates exactly what I pictured through her message on reddit. She has a show in London this week, never been to a single concert (anyones) in my entire life so im nervous asf but im defo going to this one. I WOULD loose my mind if I was lucky and had my softscars vinyl signed, id have to buy an extra lock to my room too lol. This is coming from someone who does not care much for the material world but this is completely different. I have over 2000 pages of journaling and the things I couldn't find a way to contrast, her art perfectly does. I can confidently say " Dont be so hard on yourself" "Dazzies" and "Ghost" single Handley changed my life. Anywho, Thank you Yeule for this priceless art again, I hope you see this and know we all genuinely appreciate each second recorded💕.

Yeule... thanks to you, I think you and your music will forever encapsulate the bittersweet and melancholic moments I had gone through in the last year. I can't believe it's already been a year since the album dropped. I was shadowed, sheltered, lonely, sad, abysmal, and purely felt hopeless that I didn't understand myself; feelings all cradled uncomfortably together whilst staring into the void. You gave me the ability to question myself, the nature of my reality, and partially the sequences of life that are all around confusing, dark, and full of intrigue. Thank you, yeule, for letting me see the ghost within me.
