Yggdrasil & The 9 Realms - a Minecraft EDU build - Part 1

My year 8 RE class are looking at key events in the history of Christianity and as part of that we explore Norse Mythology (clash of two cultures/worldviews). This video demonstrates the way in which we used Minecraft to build a representation of Yggdrasil, the world tree, and the nine realms. This took place in a double lesson... after introducing the realms we made a plan and got to it. What you see here is about a one hour build with 22 students. We aim to finish next week.
