One of my favorite cards, and probably my favorite extra deck monster. Fairly generic but not 100% splashable, strong but not absurdly powerful, versatile but takes alot of skill and the right deck to maximize it's potential. A fair card, and bright example that Konami can still make well designed cards. Also it's artwork is cool and is available in literally every rarity.

For Time Thief to be a viable strat, we need these: A field spell that can add a monster and summon from the deck, you can make it fair by making so you can only summon a time thief with a different type(If you special summon a time thief psychic you can summon a machine for instance); A time thief machine that actually has a great effect on field, Bezel Ship is alright but used well can be deadly, Chronocorder is funny and Temp is great but it's not a quickie so it's bad, idc make it so the card tributes itself to target a monster and make it completely unusable, a gnomaterial on crack

With only these two cards you get Redoer(with a trap) + Perpetua + that machine + the counter trap card for example. A man can dream

I loved this card in lunalights. I still play my casual lunalight deck every once in a while in master duel.

redoer is my favourite card of all time, even tho it's relatively new, i always wished if the time thief archetype gor their own version of shade brigedain or holetua , instead we got a trap monster that can't summon on same turn it's set, i am enjoying the traptrixes just cause my boy redoer has a good home in it

Most broken cards are low rarity in ocg sets. It was a nod to the ocg way of printing.

I swear Konami wants Time thiefs to be bad. Almost every support card is just given hard once per turn it doesn't need or weaker versions of better cards. Like start up is weaker launch and Adjuster should be able to use both of her effects. Even the newest card sucks why can't I activate the trap the turn its set and why can I only SS the bad machine monsters?

It's actually wild how badly they've treated time thief. 1) They didn't follow the usual TCG exclusive pattern of 2 back to back waves of 7 cards, they got their first wave then dipped for almost a year where we only got 4. Since then we've got 4 more cards, a worse redoer, a worse brigadine, a worse gazelle printed 2 years later and idk whatever temporwhal was meant to be? Ontop of that why is winder still not a 1 card redoer???

@@JacobKendrick Exactly honestly they treat the deck like if it gets 1 good card it'll be to powerful. Like why doesn't the newest XYZ monster steal material like from the top of the opponents GY like the purrely monster? staying in theme with taking away the players past and future. It's like a stun deck but for trap decks because you want to steal traps mostly.

@@firerhino8592 tbh their end board/ways to disrupt aren't really the issue, a spin with redoer, and 2 GY disrupts and now the new trap for a removal is already solid. The deck just had no consistency, regulator is the biggest hand trap magnet in the world and the deck doesn't even make it's own boss monsters well. We need an etele probably, make it so winder idk... Does something lol

@@JacobKendrick Ya or give us our own exosister that SS itself and a monster from the deck. Also it would be awesome if we got a monster that while it's a material can be treated as a Spell, trap, and monster.

@@firerhino8592we did get that, the trap is exactly that........ Except it can't be activated the turn it's set 😭 all that card needed was "you can discard 1 time thief card to activate it the turn it's set" and instant good card but that's just 1 step too far for time thief I suppose :(
