@@Shade400 Yeah, EP9 sucked and pretty much destroyed what could've been as a trilogy. That much is true. And _Force Awakened_ was pretty much made to reassure the fans that, yes, they were going to get more Star Wars. And the Star Wars they liked. E.G. OT Star Wars. Because people yelled at the Prequels as if there was no tomorrow back then. Now, if we had directly started with a movie throwing our expectations out the window... :)

Also, according the YuGiOh rulebook of this era (I still play, but I haven't read any newer rulebooks), it was actually required for you to announce each move and effect to your opponent. Ironically, Kaiba was following the rules in this episode, at least, aside from the abridging of skipping turns.

I think it's still pretty much required for you to announce your moves. How can your opponent know if they can counter it if you dont announce it?

You technically dont have to announce each move But if anyone has a question, you are expected to explain your own move or effect All counters need announced, not each move tho (I havent played since around the first movie with Anubis, but cant imagine this part of the rules changed)
