Pretty much but difference here is that, him being a monster is more of being with Leviathan and continuing his quest since Leviathan to him isn't just some monster and they're still trying to end humanity and shit. This is more like Dartz resorting to Plan B and being one with the Oricalcamalos or some BS. Also doesn't change the fact that Abridged Yami does suck as a person/hero even after Season 4 though we only had one S5 episode so far.

You know what really stands out to me? The fact that so many fans don't know about his depression. In this episode he addresses how hard it is and how it can feel as if dealing with an enemy that makes things up on the file. I get that most people will come for the Abridged series alone, but all of us should at least take the time to view one of his "We're still here" videos. This man deals with a lot and sometimes saying something as small as "You're doing great, stay strong" would be nice. I watch a lot of his videos and there's some where LK can barely hold back tears. We should at least consider being there for him as well.

Something I find amusing is some of the weird additional effects his Serpent has, like having to mill 10 cards from his deck to Attack with it. While anime Geh doesn't allow you to lose until it's destroyed, it also means you get like 3 attacks at most with it before just sitting there doing nothing while your opponent can draw and pass until they just get any basic removal. It basically requires having a way to get around your opponent just playing a defense monster per turn. I just find anime filler hilarious because they try to make such imposing opponents out of decks that probably don't work well after you think about them for 5 minutes.

It's a moment of grace and humility that hits more powerfully than I think I've ever seen, in large part because of how perfectly Dartz' breaking speech hit. The timing and sound design adds to the effect of this moment, and you really believe there's something powerful and profound backing him up. It's a moment that's deserved and earned, and my favorite in the series. 21:10 Putting aside how silly it is, this is actually really well done. I know people call this season filler, but to me it actually had some of the best character development for Atem. We see him give into his pride, we see him fail, we see him grieve. He isn’t as much of a cheat code and more of a character, that’s why I like this season.

This season has some cheesy stuff in it but it's not actually filler. I know it's not in the manga but the manga and anime are vastly diffrent. For example in the manga Pegasus died, they cut out the majority of the punishment games leading to people's twisted death or Kaiba being comatose, all of Death T was skipped and you don't see Kaiba anymore after he loses in Battle City he and Mokuba dissapear from the manga. The only part I would consider filler is Grand Prix because the animation in it is horrible.

@@esteban8471 Actually not really. Dartz summoned Devine Serpent, which literary cannot be destroyed by battle, ♾ ATK/DEF. Yami did just go pure BS on him with the knights and Knight of Destiny. There’s no such thing as “beyond infinity”. Now, if Knight of Destiny killed Geh with an effect, that’s a whole different story (yet, I don’t know how this would happen, since Geh probably had some hidden immunity to effects). But nothing can actually attack Geh and win, it’s impossible.
