Truthfully, some of these unused sections really would of been super cool to have in the main song or even a true co-op chart. Huge W for this though, fucking epic to have all of the unused elements in all these songs

I get what some other comment here said about it being disappointing... but at the same time, I think we need to remember that unused sections are MOSTLY just Exile experimenting and trying to see what fits. I agree that the drums used in this are worse, but im glad its in this because we get to see what couldnt been used, and it isnt bad even still. also all unused elements were never meant to actually be put into the song all together which is why it obviously sounds repetitive and/or boring. also nice frame drop at 8:40 lmao

​@@DanielTheUncoolio Hello, I made the original comment about being disappointed, and while it is definitely cool to see what could've been in Soulless 5, it certainly wasn't as "epic" if you will as Soulless 4 or Epidox that had significant key/instrument/entire pattern changes. Take for example Epidox, that has a lot of music that we have never heard before or after those patterns and instruments, and while it wasn't challenging (Clone Hero chart), it was interesting because you don't know what's coming up. The only part that truly surprised me here are the Amalgamation reference and the Robotic Buildup before Caged. 90% of other unused sections are just the existing ones but changed a little bit. While you could argue that Soulless 4 is pretty much the same thing, the changed sections feel much different than the original ones. In this, some sections sound literally identical to the original used ones. I might be just thrown off by the drums though since they are pretty loud in the song compared to the original ones so most of the "musical enjoyment" is taken away... Soulless 5 was not meant to be a heavy rock song, as it shows in the officially released version.

i watched this the first time in one sitting not long after it released and this goes crazy. there's plenty of stuff that i recognized from the s5 director's cut version, but a lot of the stuff i didn't recognize actually goes hard, and honestly i kinda like the drums in this one more

I like what you did with the Xyphos sections. I kinda thought having multiple Xyphos sweeps wouldn't work, since Xyphos has always been this big one-time burst of energy before the solo, but you made all the variations flow naturally into each other in a way that could have been part of the actual song and I wouldn't have minded at all.

I dont know about you, but this was kinda disappointing for me. It kinda felt anticlimactic because the unused sections arent even a bit creative apart from some references. Maybe the drums ruined the experience tho, since they do not fit the song at all, and I'm glad Exile chose the "kick snare" pattern in the final version. Now while we are at it, do you have a version of this with that "kick snare" drum patterns? I think it would improve the song by a lot.
