I learned about these appointments 20 some years ago from a Messianic Rabbi. It was always hard to share it because I would always get a deer in headlights look from other Christians, It is so nice to see them being delivered by someone so capable at such a time as this and to the "called out ones" it's all in YHWH perfect time, thank you Alan

Alan, You say at 8:42 that believers in Yahshua aren't responsible to keep the first four feasts because they have been fulfilled and "rehearsing them is pointless." However, the word says that these are perpetual, and the disciples kept them after the crucifixion. I respectfully submit that they are far from being pointless. I believe there is a "yet to come" aspect to these since we are not yet where we are to be for eternity. Shalom!

@@LCKRD-un1rx I take a different view. Do you believe that the Messiah fulfilled 100% of the Law? One of the very core beliefs is that He did, in our place, we can't, but He did. What is the 100% Law that He fulfilled? The Law or Torah is the First Five Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. So to teach that the Messiah has yet to fulfill the Fall Feasts from Leviticus 23 is saying that He didn't quite fulfill the Law. In fact, He tells us in Matthew 5, Verse 17, that He came not to abolish the Law and Prophets but to fulfill them. I know today's super popular teaching teaches us differently, but I do not adhere to today's super popular view. His 7 Feast Work equals our Eternal Sabbath Rest. The 7 Feasts are actually the full Gospel Message, Hallelujah!!!

@@LCKRD-un1rx 17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.19 Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:17-19 That's what today's teachers are doing, in Verse 19. They are annulling the Fall Feasts to fit the also super popular dispensational end times teaching. Mind you this new end times teaching started in 1830 by Darby. Then Schofield popularized it with his study Bible. Then of course Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHaye made it gospel. If you look deep into dispensational teaching you will see a very racist teaching. They miss the entire point of the Bible: the choseness of the Hebrews/Jews started at Abraham and ended at the Christ. The Jews/Hebrews are super special because the Savior of the entire world came through them. There is no current chosen race, a Master race, there isn't a people group who are His. All nations will be blessed because of the Messiah that came through the loins of Abraham. The entire New Testament opens up with the genealogy from Abraham to the Messiah for a reason.

Keeping His appointed times can only help in one journey back to the Father, Our Elohim ... Do not let any man tell you different ...If you have any questions one what to do, and when ...look to Yahusha(YaHUaH's Salvation) He(Yahusha) walked this Earth of 33 some years to show us exactly what to do to become all we can be with his help and the Help of the "Helper"(Ruach Haqodesh)... for all the reasons Uncle Alan set out ... These appointments show obedience hence LOVE to thew Father, YaHUaH~!! Will you be struch down if you do not because you do not undersand ...No probably no ...If you do not simply because you have no intention ... Then well perhaps do a "heart" check on that~!! and ask yourself what ARE you doing to show Real Love to your Creator Father In heaven~? Awesome job ...again thank you thank you ... Oh and no need to be "Buying" into any of the "Jewish Talmudinc" additives ... To His perfect ToraH(He brings light and direction) ... The Church age has become the culmination of Ha~shatans work here on Earth ... Inserting the word "Church" into the Sacred Scripture" has become the greats burden to mankind ... For these are the places that strip the people of there power to follow and of their little bit of wealth~!! Ah-mien Spatan on Fb

For when Paul talks about being caught up in chapter 4 of thessalonians 1 and the day of Yahuah in chapter 5 he was talking about the same thing.Because there was no versus or chapters in the first centeury. In Ephesians the day of Yahuah is called the day of Redemption.

Alan, Is the word "easter" in the King James Bible a mistranslation? Pesach is translated as "Passover" every where else, but "easter" in the KJV of Acts 12:4. I say it's a mistranslation, a friend says it isn't.
@WatchAlan
@WatchAlan 9 жыл бұрын
It is definitely a mistranslation, Norma. The *fact* is that the Father's Word *never* said "Easter." The King James translates the Greek text, which reads "Pesach" (which is Passover) into "Easter." It should be "Passover" ... and in the original *Aramaic* texts of Acts, it reads "petscha" - again, Pesach or Passover. The origins of Easter are rooted in European traditions. The name Easter comes from a pagan figure called Eastre (or Eostre) who was celebrated as the goddess of spring by the Saxons of Northern Europe. A festival called Eastre was held during the spring equinox by these people to honor her. Also, Ishtar (which can be pronounced, "Easter") is the East Semitic Akkadian, Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of fertility, love, war, and sex.

Alan Horvath The KJB got it right, Alan. In fact, it is the only English language bible to get it correct. You know from Leviticus 23:6 that the Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the fifteenth day of the first month AFTER Passover on the fourteenth day. It is a seven day long feast. The one and only occurrence of the word "Easter" in the KJB is in Acts 13:4 . However, the prior verse 3 holds the key: Acts 13:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread). Acts 13:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quarternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. So verse 3 clearly states that Peter was taken during the days of unleavened bread which means AFTER Passover. Unless Herod intended to hold Peter for a year until the next Passover (not likely) then the Easter reference is correct. King Herod was a pagan and would be familiar with pagan festivals such as Easter (Ishtar) - the fertility rites that were practiced at that time. The Lord bless you, Alan, and your ministry!

hello Alan, I have a question regarding the Day of Atonement. are you saying that as Quodeshim (dedicated Ones) we don't have to necessarily Atone for sin since it was already "Atoned" at Calvary? that would make sense...but do we still fast? No water or food? isn't that still an attempt to atone for sin?
@WatchAlan
@WatchAlan 9 жыл бұрын
+Kevin Gregory We all continue to sin, Kevin ... so yes - we atone for sin by applying 1st John 1:9 and we do that every time we sin, throughout our years. As far as fasting, if we are doing that simply because it is Yom Kippur, we are in the flesh, attempting Salvation through works, and wasting our time; however, if we are doing it as an act of prayer to Elohim, it is being done in the Ruach and it will be rich and rewarding.

How do you manage with so few books? I really cannot understand your difficulty with the word 'holy'. It simply means 'set apart unto God'. if we put God first and make it our aim to walk in obedience to His known will, then we are being holy. As we grow in Christ, being dependent on and led by His Spirit, we become more holy; we are changed from glory to glory. It is true that the way the word 'holy' is used by some people does refer to the pagan icons like bowls of smoking incense and stained-glass windows and all the paganised paraphenalia, especially of the roman catholic religion. But that is their sad problem and does not change its biblical meaning. But thank you for your teaching. I will be studying your videos and I am sure I will learn much from them.

I have a little confusion about it, since I have been learn that after Jesus is take to heaven, all the people dead in Christ was taken to heaven, so, who are the ones that is taken when Jesus come on the clouds?

They are in heaven, as you said, Lilly. It's only their bodies that are in the ground. "Sleep" is an English word - NOT the Aramaic/Hebrew word the Father gave - and so, gives the wrong idea as so many English words do. Those who have died are in heaven ... but their bodies are in the ground ... and they are without their bodies and are waiting to get their bodies back - bodies that will be glorified! - when the Netchatef (Rapture) happens.

Mr. Horvath, I watch and consume your verbage with the hunger of a infant slurping up life. Indeed your calming voice and gentle manner makes listening a delight. I have a question? The Moed of unleavened bread and Passover visa versa are celebrated at the same time. As the bread of haste represents Exodus from Agreed. Angel of death that passes over the First Born of all those whose door post was stained by the lambs blood. Agreed? Yeshua the Lamb of God. Was a offering for all those who by the Lamb would be saved. But the sin offering was two goats twins identical. Enter in BarAbbas the choice made by the priests of the day(scapegoat). Making Yeshua the blood sacrifice for sin. So sin sacrifice was in what Month and how does this tie in to YHWH moedim? Thanks for your teachings.

Here's a thought experiment for you Alan. What if Pentecost has not been completely fulfilled?Is it possible that it might be only half fulfilled?Maybe the holy spirit coming down to believers was part and parcel to the eventual harpazo, where the holy spirit is returned, and THEN Pentecost will be fulfilled.So instead of 4 down and 3 to go, it could actually be 3.5 down and 3.5 to go. The human brain likes to see things as completed, so maybe we are jumping ahead?

Alan Horvath You mean the political anti-christ, but theres two of them right ? The religious one, is going to make a 1 world religion and the political one is gonna make 1 world order... Isn't pope francis the last pope of the roman catholic church? Its the last cause he himself will proclaim that catholicism will be the 1 world religion, "The lawless one" is the political anti-christ, am i wrong? I have no mean to brake your theorys, im just looking for answers my brother :)
@WatchAlan
@WatchAlan 10 жыл бұрын
***** First of all, there is no "Antichrist" ... the Word refers to him as the "Lawless One" - that's the one who brings peace to all the conflict in the Middle East - the political beast. "Antichrist" is anyone who does not recognize Yahshua as the Son of YHWH; Mashiach. The 2 you are referring to are the 2 Beasts from Revelation 13 ... one is political and one is religious. As far as the Pope claiming that Catholicism will be the 1 world religion, there is nothing Scriptural about that - that comes from the doctrines of men. Look to the Word for Truth ... and nothing else.

Shalom Alan! I hope that this note finds you and your family in the best of health. I'm righting to you about the Moed feast days. I understood that you said that the first four are full filled, And that the last three are not yet full filed.My question is Why not the day of Atonement as well? I was taught that Yahshua was are Atonement, And buy his strips that was the Atonement. Therefore if we kept the day of Atonement then we were saying that he never died for us. Please help me to under stand. For I have not kept the day of Atonement for a long time . But do keep the other feast days. Am I to do so? Thanks so much for your time that you put into thees studies.. Shalom my friend, Love and prayers to you, and your family.

How about the 7th day of Unleavened Bread Leviticus 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. The seventh day is all so a holy convocation. And Leviticus 23:36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. And the eighth day is a Holy Convocation. Why do people keep dismissing these days.

Alan, are you saying that we do not have to keep these feasts now? In the Millenium I know we will be doing them then under the guidance of Yeshua. But I sometimes question our keeping them now because I am not sure that we doing things correctly and I do not want to dishonor Him in any way. Also, what do you say regarding keeping the weekly Sabbath? Thanks for this video and ALL your work Alan. You are so informative and helpful. Yah bless you!!!

Hi, Sharon. I believe in keeping the Moedim and the Shabbat as YHWH instructs ... but what I mean to get accross through what I'm saying in this video, is that we should never get caught up in doing them through a spirit of works; keeping them to prove ourselves "faithful" or "worthy." That is a spirit that rejects the Work of Yahshua. I understand you when you say you "do not want to dishonor Him in any way" ... the best way to learn what He wants is by prayerfully reading His Word over and over again and by asking Him to show you! HalleluYah! He will reveal all truth to us through His Ruach -- *IF* we are diligent and keep asking Him!

Dan 8:9-14 9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. This is not speaking of Hanukkah.....

Alan, thank you for the clear explanation/ study about the 'Moed '. But I have a question about what you've said: that believers of Yahshua are not responsible to keep these feats. How must I see this to 1 Cor. 11: 23, 24. I represent a home group of believers in Yahshua, who are seeking the meaning of the 'Ḿoed' for us gentiles today. Thank you, Roy Thenu - Assen Holland

I don't recall saying that, Roy. Everyone who loves Elohim should pay very close attention to His moedim ... perhaps I was pointing at the moedim which have already been fulfilled; we no longer need to rehearse them because they have been fulfilled, but we should still rehearse them in the interest of remembering what He has done for us! I hope that clarifies what I meant to say.

Thanks Alan, this was a great teaching, but I'm still not sure if we are to keep these Moed or not? If so, how do we keep, and in what manner, do we keep them? You stated that the first four were fullfilled, and the last three havent, & that beleivers arent required to keep them, maybe not the first four, but perhaps the last three? I liked the picture added into the video of the 7 branched Menorrah., does the Menorrah represent the feasts?

+Cathy Crawford One thing is for sure - we do not want to keep them in a spirit of works. We keep them in the spirit of remembering that these are YHWH's qodesh appointments with mankind; we remember those appointments He kept and fulfilled and watch for His fulfillment of those yet to be fulfilled.

Thanks for the feedback. Sukkot for instance, it's one that hasn's been fulfilled as yet, and is one that is a week long, so I', asking, mainly because I've been attending a Messianic congregation for the past year, and they "do" each one of the moedems, so your saying that's a works thing?

Thanks Alan, I've only known about the FATHER's appointed times and HIS NAME for about a year now. I've been attending a gentile messianic congregartion as they are the ones who at least "keep" the feasts. It has not been my intention to "switch" one set of "traditions" for another so I am treading lightly though. Your know Alan, I've been in the "church" for 30 years, and I'm getting the feeling that the lack of growth has been due largely to what I'm now going to term "false teaching and a false messiah". It all never felt quite right to me, as I've always been a seeker of the truth. It's taken a very long time and It's amazing to me how the lights have been blarring since I've at least been calling HIM by HIS correct name and desiring to follow HIS appointed times and putting away the false holidays, idols and the like. I somehow just recently, stumbled across you in my search for the truth, and have been blessed to understand so much more. I'm excited to begin learning more of the otiot. Listening to you break it down makes everything clearer. I'm looking forward to the journey ahead, in prayer that the latter years will be the best. Thank you for your time Alan, as I know your a busy man. I've viewed at least 20 of the videos to date, the music ones as well, those were a treat. The Bean B? soup was cute, I learned a better way to cut my onions. It reminded me of the cookbook " A man A can and A plan. I Hope your health has improved, May YAHWAH's face shine upon you and continue to bring you peace, Shalom....

Steve HAMMER Niewulis In all his teachings, Alan emphasized the importance of taking HOW we observe these Moedim, and everything else, to Abba Father. He always emphasized that we needed to know about them, learn about them, prayerfully seek Him and ask Him to teach us what to do to esteem Him. Alan taught that we should let Elohim guide us in exactly how to honor His Moedim without them becoming more a focus of our own works, and therefore taking from the Work that the Father does in us, and the Sacrifice of our Adon, Yahshua. None of us can do them perfectly and that was Alan’s point...do your best and lean on Elohim and this was the case with everything in our walk. If we are doing it without His guidance, we get in the flesh and pat our own selves on the back. It must be the Father Who puts it in our hearts to observe them and how. ☺️☺️

I am being taught something totally different in the present ministry that I have been affiliated with. The last three Moedim hasn't been fulfilled yet and it seems that Yahshua will fulfilled them at the appointed times. Should the called out ones rehearse these three appointments until they are fulfilled by going to a place where YHWH has placed his name.

As a Christian it seems not only dont I understand the scriptures but also salvation is taught but Lordship is not popular Makes me question if Iam one of the elect Jesus spoke much about being a disciple, a follower. How do I know I am following How do I know Im obedient to god See I think God wants total surrender,nothing else will do
@OneHighwayWalker
@OneHighwayWalker 9 жыл бұрын
There is no way to understand the NT without understanding the OT which it references. There was no other Scripture than the OT at the time the NT documents were being written. You might want to read the OT using a chronological reading plan because the OT moves back and forth in history even within a single writing. This will also show you who was writing at a particular time. You are following and being obedient if you do what is instructed in the Word. YHWH's word has not changed and His instructions are valid for today. Some things cannot be done because we are not in the land, but pray for His Ruach to guide you, and you will be fine. It is a life-long learning process. Just keep building on what you have learned. I like to read through the Word every year. Each time I get deeper and deeper. As we practice what we learn, YHWH will reveal more. You are correct: He wants total surrender to His ways because that is best for us. He is a loving Father who cares for His children. Shalom!

I'm not sure that I completely understand your point. The command was for all males to appear in Jerusalem three times a year at the temple. There is no temple now, but there will be during His millennial reign when all nations will be required to appear or they will not have rain. I agree that we can remember and honor His appointed times now to the best of our ability wherever we live as a rehearsal for His future reign on earth. I would never encourage someone to be disobedient to the Father's instructions. I would, however, exhort others to not add to what He says. We do need to be cautious about reading into Scripture and extrapolating. Shalom!
