When I was working in detailing I was doing a brand spanking new BMW X5, customer taking delivery of it later that day - broke the windscreen by a complete accident. Saw the Sales Manager turn into a full force tornado in my managers office, expected to be fired - my manager came to me and told me it was unfortunate, these things happen, be more careful next time and then handed me the keys to the next car I was supposed to detail - Range Rover Supercharged fully loaded. The trust he put in me despite my errors at 17 yr old made a huge difference in my future career. How you deal with mistakes your employees make can really shape your employees, especially at young age. It's amazing to see this company putting so much trust into young employees.

I think content about Vinyl Production and Aftercare would be quite interesting. It would help some people understand that vinyl is more than just a big sticker, and also help with looking after the vinyl after you have your car wrapped, such as what to do and what not to do when cleaning, and the consequences of cleaning specific vinyl finishes with the wrong products.

Enjoyed this video. Coming from a fellow wrapper it's interesting to know what issues others have had through the years with wrapping. Being a subbie who's trying to focus more on their own work now, my biggest problems have always been businesses always cutting down fitting time so you end up rushing jobs... and anyone who knows wrapping knows you cannot cut corners if you want to offer the best service.

It's like putting wall paper on a wall, some have pattern matching and even if the pattern matches the top of the wall, I might not match properly at the bottom depending how straight the wall is, if you then by mistake get one roll from a different batch, you're toast lol. Or as a guy in the building trade once said, we all make mistakes but the difference is a professional knows how to deal with it while the amateur doesn't. Glad to hear you're honest as there's not enough of you left anymore.
