Yo me peleé con la tapa del filtro y no habia manera de poner los tornillos de rosca. El problema que no pude sacar el tubo que va a la tapa y me costó mucho trabajar asi. Una vez montado hacia un ruido infernal, no habia quedado bien puesta. La tube que llevar a un taller y me la taparon bien sin cobrarme nada, pero fue una odisea ese cambio de filtro . No se si lo volveré a probar, pero me guardo tu video, por si acaso. Muchas gracias.

Hey, my air intake bellow has big hole for like 2000 miles. My mechanic said not to worry. Now my bike won’t start. How should I diagnose? My bike has been sitting in cold for 2 months now. Please help. Do I gotta clean the throttle body and drain the old fuels ? Please help

Hello my friend. The question is this: Can a hole in the air intake cause problems? You will be risking engine damage, particularly if you live in a particularly dusty or dirty environment. That is your air intake, which means unfiltered air will be getting into your engine. You need to fix the problem immediately and then check if your engine has suffered any major damage. Might cost you a couple hundred dollars (if you take it to a shop). Thanks 😉😉

@ I live in nyc, dealer will charge more than $1000 here, I was trying to diy diagnose. I’m hoping if I fix the air intake bellow, clean the throttle body and change the battery and put new fuel the problem will be fixed. Is it possible for you to give further advice? Do you have any video on inspecting the engine for damage? I will immediately change the air filter following your tutorial. Please thnx

@@rahi7339 One of the first things you will check, after repairing or replacing the engine air intake, is the engine compression, because without proper compression the engine cannot start. Do an engine cylinder compression test (very basic). Also check if the spark plug produces a strong spark.

@@YiannisPagonis the scooter cranks when I try to start, sometimes it turn on for 2 sec and then turns off. Now battery ran out of charge because we tried to start it too much. Alright so let me know if this the right step to try to fix the problem : 1. Recharge the battery 2. Replace the air intake and change air filter 3. Clean the throttle body 4. Drain old fuel and put new fuel 5. Check /replace the spark plug 6. Do an engine cylinder test Unfortunately, I can’t do step 4, 5 and 6. Is it possible for you to make video doing everything to diagnose why scooter won’t start? I would appreciate it. My dealers charged me $250 just to replace the air intake long time ago. The even charged $270 for oil change. I don’t want to waste my money on them. Please help 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
