Today we often lament the decline of a great art form into an endless flood of live-action comic books for adolescents. Don't despair, for what is true and good cannot die. It must be transformed, and reborn in every new generation. In this film, Mr. Krasner has given us the Citizen Kane of the second decade of the new millennium . As is so often the case with pioneers, it is obvious from this compelling cinema capolavoro that he has been inspired by the great masters of the past. BRAVO!!!

@the1909house Good observation. The artists who drew this were most likely right-handed, so it's easy for them to draw images where most characters are left-handed, as the right hand of the cartoonist can draw the instrument better.

early punk band or the "who's" inspiration.... the cartoon is about the hatfeilds and the mc coy feude. hill billy refers to scottish protestants (william of oange was called king billy) who lived in isolation. there must be a more apt cartoon .
@galolito9 жыл бұрын
+Scott Awaywithit Hillbilly is an American term first appearing in about 1900 and refers to uncouth rustics. As a descendant of such people I can tell you that it could include any person of European descent who lived in hill country and was usually a subsistence farmer. One had to be poor to be a hillbilly. There is also an interesting term used by them and about them, 'Jake'. If a person is honest he is said to be 'jake'. If you propose and agreement with me and I say that it is, "jake by me' then we have a variable contract. But if you are dressed poorly and hopelessly old fashion then you are said to 'be Jakey'. Each use of the term another facet of the Hillbilly.
