Thanks for this. So helpful. Suggestion: Might you be able to add a brief vocabulary review similar to this at the beginnings of your cooking videos? That would make the even better.

There was this thing my Bubbe used to say that translated, roughly, to “don’t bang on my tea kettle.” Do you know this saying? I would love to hear this again. She was my favourite person ever.

I so enjoy your lessons Mrs Schaechter! I am so excited for each new lesson. I recently discovered the "FOLKSBIENE" lessons. I have to say, I have already learned the vocabulary from you. However, I have discovered that with the additional conversational style of his lessons, I have taken leaps and bounds ahead in speaking, or I guess.... Putting it all together has made me feel confident in talking with the limited people I have around NEBRASKA. I am on jdate now because I can talk without looking like a goy schlump. Oy, I have spilkis and am schvitsing that I wrote this in English. But, I say shishtanishtire asick! Zyto gazunt my Yiddish mishtuppen! A dank Dewey
