Hi Andrew, I thank you and Vanessa very much for this last practise! I saw it is a little bit shorter as you anticipated in your message, but it is ok anyway. It’s useful and great as the other ones. Your practises helped me very much in these last months. I started following you at the end of the spring because I had some health problems and yoga helped me to solve them. In this period your practises help me a lot also as regard the psychological side, Italian situation as you probably know it is not easy and happy. Stillness in the mind during yoga help me to find a moment of real peace, thanks a lot, Namaste 🙏

Hi Chiara it is wonderful to hear that the practices have been able to bring you some comfort and peace at more than just the physical level 😊 Often when we work with the physical we find benefit there then then spills over into the energetic / emotional and from there into the thinking body ….. it’s clear that you are feeling this movement of positive effect through yourself. It is a great thing that you can let this happen and recognise it in yourself ….. stay with us on the journey …. we are delighted you are with us and that we have been able to help in your challenging circumstances 🙏🙏

As always I appreciate your practice. Funny how different it can be, in the first pose what I felt happened in my upperarms, not in the targeted area 🙂 Then I have a wonder about saddle pose, what made you choose to have the full one before the half ones.. I thought the half one is easiser then the full one, but maybe I am wrong. I am pretty flexible in my quads so I may not feel the differences properly 🙂

Hi there Anna - it that first posture from memory we are opening up the liver meridian but as we support ourselves leaning back we are drawing the scapulae together and creating some introducing so connective tissue stress on the inside of the arm so I’m not surprised you felt something in the upper arm - with the energetic practices I find each session different - sometimes I have physical sensations that overwhelm the energetic - perhaps this is the case here and maybe another time the balance may be different ? On the saddle posture I wanted to use the first variation (both sides at once) to flush the more physical response out leaving us hopefully more open to the more subtle energetic response from the more targeted single sided option …. in working the practice up this worked for me but you will be delighted to know I’m sure that you don’t have my legs so maybe your physical and energetic response was different 😉😊 …. great to see that you’re introspecting enough to explore and question 🙏🙏
